PowerBear Samsung Galaxy S6 Battery Case [3500 mAh] Up to 135% More Battery

Definitely an A+ for the PowerBear Battery case!Like everyone else, most cellphones don't get you through the day if you're a heavy user. And it gets worse with age! But this PowerBear Battery case (mine is for the Samsung S6) was a great solution for me! And this was the best deal I found of all the manufactures. I read all the previous reviews before purchasing it (good & bad) and I am not disappointed!Several things to consider.....1) Yes it adds some weight, so it is something to consider... but not a deal breaker. The fit and design works and looks great on my Galaxy S6..2) The case is a two-piece housing but comes assembled as one piece. YOU MUST separate the housing to install it on your phone or you will likely damage it! The manual is not clear on this. Several user complaints were more about not installing it correctly and resulted in themselves likely causing damaged connectors and plastic cracks.3) You CAN NOT use wireless charging while this battery case is installed. Period! It's either one or the other.... You can't have both! For what it's worth, you are at an advantage by using the case because you are preserving wear & tear on the phones connector, and your charging rate is quicker with a direct cable as opposed to wireless charging.4) GET A GOOD CHARGER! Recharging time is great! Total charging time for a phone with the battery case installed will be aprox. twice as long as the phone only. In my case, less than 4 hours and I was totally charged (using the Samsung OEM charger that came with my phone)... and was able to get almost 2 days of use between charges.I can't say for sure, but this is likely the problem described in several reviews were not the fault of the battery case. DO NOT use an old or cheap USB charger that puts out less than 1.5 Amps. It may have worked on your phone, but it will likely NOT work with the increased capacity & load of the battery case installed. Charging times may increase to greater than 8 hours, depending on how low (cheap?) the charger is rated.I hope this helps some of you make an informed decision.*** I plan to update this review later if anything changes later5/31/2018I've been using this Battery Case for 6 weeks now and I'm glad to say that my opinion has not changed! It still is performing great. I've also dropped my phone twice from my shirt pocket (aprox. 5 foot drop) and it has survived well. The case did unsnap and popped apart slightly with the impact directly on the corner, but it snapped back together with no issues. The phone survived with no damage to it or the PowerBear case. I still give it 5 Stars!!!!

This case/charger comes with a short USB charging cord (but you can use your phone's charger since they use the same style micro USB), a clear plastic screen protector, and a headphone adapter. The case has a front snap in to place to frame that make swapping the phone in and out. The case comes with a charge when received, but I did a full charge before using it. The case definitely adds bulk to the phone, but the curved back and thickness makes the one handed grip feel better that the phone alone. Since the S6 is a battery hog and cant last the whole day with normal use I was able to charge my phone to full battery and make the phone last the whole day.The case charges both the phone and case at the same time, but it does take some to get the a full charge. If Im in a hurry Ill unsnap the phone out of case and use my fast charger to charge the phone (the fast charger does not fast charge the phone when connected in the case). This charger worked well for the first 2 months before it had a problem charging the phone in the case through the power cord and the battery indicator is always lit no matter how much charge is left. Since it had a 24 month warranty, the Powerbear LLC customer service was quick to respond (don't call amazon, contact the company directly). They just needed my amazon order number from when I ordered it and they were able to ship me a brand new case/charger. I'm going into month 2 on my replacement and its still working great. My first case/charger, (Can still charge the phone as long as its not connect to the power cord) Ill bring with me on longer trips when I might need and emergency charge.I would definitely recommend this case/charger if your phone cannot last the whole day on one charge. Changing the phone in and out is a snap, better one handed grip, 24 month warranty, and company has great customer service if some thing goes wrong.

This phone case is definitely the best buy for the S6. It provides at least a full day of using your phone constantly, with considerable protection from falls. My S6 is rooted with a different carrier's image file (this was the only way to root with my current carrier) which brought down the battery life considerably. It would only last about 6 hours into my workday, when it warn that 15% battery life was left. The Powerbear battery case solved that and now my phone operates all day long until I put it on the charger before I go to sleep. The case does warm up a little bit but not hot or anything to worry about. It is less clunky than an Otterbox, which I had and most people have. Matter of fact, I think it feels perfect in the hands. It is not super slim, but I'd still consider it slim - hey you're adding an actual extra battery to your phone so don't complain. I bought this because I was sick of the $10 solution to lack of battery, which was carrying a small battery bank and USB cable to charge with. This is infinitely a better solution. Powerbear made this thing nice, and I'd give it 6 stars if it came with a permanent screen cover like my old Otterbox did. Unfortunately, you have to invest in a screen cover, unlike the shitty stick-on plastic one that is provided. You can buy a decent tempered glass screen cover that fits with this phone case here on Amazon, but Powerbear should capitalize on that and include it. Maybe I should put 4 stars for that reason but I'm too happy with this case to put anything less than 5.
