Stays in place all day long!
I'm not one to normally write a review, but I feel this underwear deserves it. I did a comparison with a number of brands, and this underwear far surpassed all others. I judged on the following four criteria:1) Waist band - needs to come up high enough and stay put and not roll down the bottom of the belly and start cutting into the hips.2) Legs - must protect the thighs from chafing, and not roll or creep up.3) Crotch - must provide positive separation between the genitals and the thighs, and not sag during the day.4) Fly - must be properly positioned to allow usage without the need to readjust the underwear. Should also cover well when not in use, but be easy to open when needed. This was the only underwear that consistently met and or exceeded all for criteria. I tested both the 6" and 9" legs. They both performed at the top. the 6" legs perform almost as well as the 9", but did ride up just a little higher than I would like once or twice. The only drawback to these is the price. I considered only giving it four start because of the price, but their performance made them worth at lease four and a half stars, so rounding up gives them five. I liked them so well, I replaced all my underwear with these (mostly 9" with a few 6" for when I wear shorts and don't want them peeking out the bottom. I have worn them now for over a year, and they are still doing great. Other reviews mentioned pilling, and while some of my pairs are pilling on the inner legs, I can hardly blame that on the material. (Better the underwear chafe than my legs.)As for sizing I bought the 2X which was a step up as I was used to wearing 1X underwear and liked them just a little snug, but these fit me perfectly. Since then I have lost almost 50 pounds, but the 2X underwear still fits nicely. While they are a little roomier now, they still stay in place, and the crotch doesn't sag even after 24 hours. I am not looking forward to the day I will need to shell out so much to replace all my underwear with a smaller size, but this underwear is worth the price. (Maybe these will work well enough long enough that I can skip a size.)

These will out last any other brand!!
I came across a recommendation for ExOfficio a few years back, and they we're kind of pricey. My curiosity got the best of me, so I picked up a pair for about 15 bucks. Well, about 2 years had passed and it occurred to me that all my other pairs of underwear had worn out with holes or losing elasticity, but these gems we're still perfect! Also, they're very comfortable! Since I needed new underwear, I went and found more of these at a decent price. I'm excited when I have a pair of other brands wear out so I can toss them and buy another pair of these. Not that I'm keeping track, but I have about 40 pairs of underwear and 35 of them are ExOfficio's. My original pair is still holding up strong and I honestly can't tell which pair are the originals because they are all so durable! If you're hung up on price, then I can assure you that these are worth it and can out last any other brand by years!

Light Weight, Comfortable as H*LL, Don't Hardly Know You Are Wearing Them
Pricy but worth it. The fabric is light and dries quickly. I surf wade while fishing and get wet if I don't run quickly enough at oncoming waves. Wet undies on a cool day is not a dream. And the most marvelous characteristic is that the waist band is wide and the design so good, that you forget you are even wearing them. They are sized properly. While I purchased them for surf wading, I am going to buy more for everyday wearing because they are so comfortable to wear. And if I should travel, I know which 2 pairs of under shorts I will take. Highly Recommended if comfort is important to you.

Best undies ever
I travel a lot on business for my university, but have to economize constantly. Ex Officio boxer briefs are the only underwear for me. The claims that you can go a second day without washing are really true. 35 hours of flights and transits? No problem. I wear them in intensely hot and muggy climates with no discomfort. After washing in a hotel basin / sink, I roll them in a travel towel, press out the water and hang them on the nearest towel rack or doorknob. They are ready in a few hours. In a pinch, I have even worn them directly out of the towel -- though giving a few minutes for them to dry on my body. The boxer briefs are as comfortable as the regular boxers, because of the material used. And the boxer briefs will fit under any trousers, like Levis, comfortably

Excellent fit, decent material (wool would be better though).
I like boxer briefs in general because they seem to have the best of both worlds. Like briefs they're fairly taut, preventing them from bunching up or getting eaten by ones crack, or otherwise getting misarranged. The extra length of leg only adds to this. They look less ridiculous than briefs though, and, like boxers, don't have a band right there where it can abrade the crease where inner thigh meets crotch.I like these boxer briefs in particular. I wish there were a "fit better than expected" button. The cut and shape of these boxers is excellent, very nearly perfect in how they fit me. The only thing I'd change is maybe add a little more length to the leg and make it of a different material. The material isn't terrible. It's leagues ahead of normal underwear, or what you'd expect when you read "94% nylon". I've tested it: I've worn it straight from the washing machine with no discomfort, and I've done the sink wash technique and it dried very rapidly. It could be a little softer. It wicks sweat alright, but hardly compares to better cloth.I could not in good consciousness penalize them more than half a star for the material. However, I've been comparing underwear, and so far, unless all of them suddenly disintegrates in a few months, a pair of wool boxer briefs is going to win the competition. Even on days when the air is body temperature, wool doesn't feel excessively warm, and a wool blend absorbs and then wicks away sweat almost magically.

Super comfy and keeps you dry
Super comfy and keeps you dry. I workout in these, but after they dry they still have a bit of a smell to them, but you have to get pretty close to be able to tell. They dry super fast in front of a fan out of the washer. Bought a second pair, these might replace my cotton boxer-briefs for good.
