Cute and inexpensive costume!
I like the ease of using this costume...I wore a black shirt and black pants and it was so cute! I wore this to a senior citizen costume party and everyone there wanted pictures of my costume because it was so colorful. Mask was very easy to fit over my glasses so not to obstruct my view. The antennas were rolled up on the headband and you just unroll them and straighten them. So easy!

Cheap and easy Halloween costume!
I honestly loved this costume. It's so pretty and was really fun to wear. If you're like me and wait until last minute for everything I highly recommend this! Simple. Easy to accessorize. So many color options. Just buy it, especially if you don't know what else to do!

Good low cost option
The costume arrived in time and in great condition. It was wrinkled due to the packaging but it was easy to iron. The colors were very different to what I ordered, which was a little dissapointing. The fabric has color on one side only. However, it had a discount, so I ordered two and glued them. The facemask is a little uncomfortable, but I wasn't planning to wear it anyway. The head piece was cute and very comfortable. I am big and tall, but it fit perfectly.

Loved the costume!
Received a lot of compliments on my costume. It is simple and pairs well with black leggings and a tank top. The colors on the back are vibrant. The headband is good quality and stays on. This is a great costume to wear again and again.

Cute but not functional
It's a decent buy, I'm short and petite so it dragged the ground which wouldn't have been so bad if it had boning or rods in the wings but that's sold separately and the neck piece doesn't have adjustable velcro. The mask was comfortable, and I loved the headband antennas but overall the wings worked better on my wall as decoration...

Simple, easy, cute, buy it!
Truly grateful when people leave reviews so I'm trying to get better at it.So it's Halloween today in the US 2024, and it was trick-or-treat in my neighborhood.Normally I'm racing home from work, breathlessly trying to slap the candy into a container of any sort to put on the porch for a self-serve kind of Halloween.Well, ironically an Amazon return at Kohl's, led to a Kohl's coupon which led to an impulse buy, of all things, a Halloween eye makeup kit that I spotted when walking past their Halloween section on my way out! Well heck, I had a coupon, so why not?It was the fun eyelashes and glittery eyeshadow that uncharacteristically pulled me in. Which led to purchasing a little wooden sign that said trick or treat and suddenly I was all in.Anyway, what you came here for. So thinking to myself about when I would wear the eyelashes if not to physically hand out candy for the first time in my adult life, I decided on October 28th to dress up for Halloween for the first time since I was a kid, and was suddenly feverishly combing through Amazon for something to arrive by 6:00 tonight, ideally sooner. For the record, I got that note where it says, "Now arriving by 8pm" yesterday when you thought you got the order done in time to arrive earlier, but it did indeed arrive by 8:00p on the 30th. So thank you for that, Amazon!Reviews: There were lots of good reviews, but the poor reviews did have me concerned, and there was definitely no time to correct it If it came with the antennae broken, or the finger loops sewn in the wrong place or not open, or worse, the wings being upside down, or the neck velcro not being sticky enough, or too tight, or the mask not fitting well.Bless you to those who provided images. Those are what helped me take a chance. And I will apologize and confess to not having left an image because I actually was too sheepish to ask one of the parents to take a photo of my costume for me.All pros, no cons for my purposes:It came out so well! I got so many compliments from the parents, but the kids were so fascinated and you could hear them say, "Oooh a butterfly!" while approaching down the sidewalk. Which was so heartening! Babies couldn't tell how they felt about it, but there was no crying lol!Antennae - The antennae were perfect and came intact! Looking at the picture on Amazon, I see now I could have uncoiled them more to make them more prominent. But it was fine. I did bend them down when I packed them away thinking it would be protective, but I do feel like one seemed a little less engaged after I did that. It's well wrapped by its own material, so I'm not sure how I would go about repairing it. Seems like there might be kind of metal under there, almost like paper clip thickness or something. I know I will be able to at least get another wear out of it before it breaks, if it breaks.Wings - The wings were super fun! The color I wanted couldn't get here in time, but I ended up really liking what I have. It's the one with orange at the edges and then in from there yellow, green, blue, purple, and then kind of fuchsia. It didn't seem hot vibrant, but seemed quite visible even when it was dark and I just had the light from the porch. Gosh I won't describe this material well but they are made of kind of a plastic tablecloth material. Like when you get that decorative tablecloth just for the holiday and you can wipe it down. It's a little thinner than that which makes the movement great, but still durable enough to put up with getting blown around pretty decently by the wind. The finger loops were placed well for me. I am a bit short and well let's just say compact at 5'3 1/2 and 185 lb. It was very forgiving for my arm length and body width. The model on the website seems taller, but unsure. And she is for sure slimmer. When I looked at reviews with images, there were people of all shapes, sizes and heights from what I could tell, so in this case perhaps one size does fit all! Also it turned out to be very windy this Halloween, which worked great for my butterfly wings to be wafting behind me!Neck attachment - There is, what would you call it, kind of a band that goes around the neck. It's almost like a less fluffy scrunchie. That's a poor definition, but it is stretchy and the Velcro held well for me. Neither the neck band nor Velcro rubbed against my bare skin which is sensitive. Again I don't have a slender neck and it was still comfortable.Mask - There was a review that said the mask didn't work well. All I can say is to just make sure you have it right side up. It actually was a pretty decent quality and the ribbon stayed when I tied it. I didn't need to mess with it the entire two hours. Again, sensitive skin and no rashes or irritation. The eye openings worked for me, and remember, I had big fluffy feather eyelashes on, which I put on prior to the mask. I was of course careful when I put the mask on, but it was no trouble. I think it would work for most people with or without costume lashes. And honestly, the mask could also work for another costume. If you like simple, get it:This was seriously the easiest, last minute, put it together and make it look deliberate costume ever! I wore a black long sleeved top, black leggings, and black socks and shoes and called it a day. I put the effort into some fun eyelashes, cheek color, a fantastic cherry lip color and it looked like I meant to do it lol!Had planned to wear it every year now to pass out candy, but I got so many compliments, I think people might remember the butterfly! But I will definitely wear it again at some point! The price seemed fair to me. Perhaps I was just grateful for the last-minute find. It may change because we know how this thing works, but I paid $16.99.I know a picture is worth a thousand words, but hope these thousand words make up for not having a picture!

LOVE IT!!!
I felt like the coolest mom in the world while participating in my son's school trunk or treat event wearing this costume. This costume was easy to wear. One thing though, one of the loops that goes over my fingers (I use my index and middle finger together, you can use just one if that's more comfortable for you) broke while I was getting in the car before the event. I sat on the wing before reaching my arm out to grab something and the force broke the loop. I was bummed out, so it's probably better if you wear it right before the event (without going anywhere and/or doing anything extreme) and take it off before you get in the car.I'm 5'3" and was worried that the wings will be too long and possibly drag on the ground.. I've thought about getting the kids version to be safe, but I decided to just try this one and am glad I did! it fit me perfectly, so if you're about my height.. no worries!I got the Rainbow 2 one.. was in between that one and the blue one! They're all so pretty. the Rainbow 2 is just as beautiful as it shows in the picture. Yes, they are one sided.. if the manufacturer is able to create more, can always make them two sided! The collar part is okay-looking too, why gemstones? Would be better if it's just black. I was okay with it anyway since I was around children. But when I use it to a rave or such.. will probably try to replace the collar to something cuter.
