SubjectiveCyclist Review: Rox 12 Sport Set
Read my full review @ SubjectiveCyclistThere have been plenty of newcomers taking swings at Garmin, the clear leader in cycling navigation in the US and possibly elsewhere. Sigma, although not a newcomer to the GPS market, is one of the only contenders that seems to have applied their pedigree and brought a truly viable device to the fight. Where the Sigma clearly strives is in its design layout and ease of use. If you can operate a smart phone, running that ROX will feel as complicated as breathing. Its presentation of data is highly customizable, expansive and flawless. If nothing else, the ROX 12.0 is a wonderful device for displaying the data of your choosing. The only shortcoming I found with the head unit was the overall footprint relative to its screen size. Still, after months of testing I look down at my significantly more compact Garmin Edge 520 and get a slight wiff of dated-ness. To describe the ROX 12.0 in a single word: graphical. With its lust-worthy template-rich layout, responsive touchscreen and superior ease of use, not to mention the GoPro enabled barfly mount, the ROX 12.0 will change your impressions of what a cycling GPS is supposed to look and feel like.
