And I thought I had been using good shoe polish for the last 30 years......ha!
I've been using Kiwi, Lincoln and other shoe polishes for many years because, well, that's what was readily available. I bought this polish on a whim. I figured, oh what the heck, I'll try it out. One word: WOW!This is NOT like all of the other polishes. This polish returns the shoe's leather back to its original softness and gives a luster that is just not matched with Kiwi, Lincoln or the others. It's a deep, glossy, rich, luxurious shine that is noticeably better.I stripped and renovated a 20 year old pair of high-end Johnston-Murphy Aristocraft dress shoes a couple of weeks ago that were looking a bit shop-worn with the Saphir Renomat product and followed up with this polish. WOW!!!The shoes looked like a million bucks! Maybe better than when they were new because they still had a rich patina but looked brand new. Meaning, they looked like the real deal and not like the new shoes that are sprayed with dye to look patina'd and worn.Color me very impressed. I was so pleased with the result that I bought three other colors of this polish and now use it on all of my dress and work shoes. It's THAT good and is worth the extra money because it gives a much better look and is better for expensive shoes.

Does a beautiful job of polishing and rehydrating my favorite black leather shoes.
My favorite black leather shoes were in need of hydration, shine, and protection. I wanted to use a high quality product to preserve them for many more wearings. This Sapphir product is a thick paste, and the shoes look fabulous now.

The high quality waxes are evident in a deep vibrant shine that protects and projects a good image.
It's rare that you'll see any product given 5 stars consistently and almost unanimously. I have some good shoe polishes but I ordered this just to see why so many great reviews for polish that's not exactly a bargain price. I used it just once last week and now I can add my praise. Shoe polish, not unlike car polish, must contain quality wax to both protect and add a deep shine to the finish. This claims to have several quality waxes included, and I have no doubt after seeing the brilliant, deep black shine on my shoes. I've worn the shoes all week and even spilled some nasty food drippings on one shoe. But the shine has held up admirably. Quality ingredients cost a bit more but you can usually see it in the end result. This is a case in point. My shoes should last longer but more importantly, they look so much better to colleagues and customers, giving a professional impression that you are someone who gives attention to detail and are a person who gives quality and professionalism a premium.

Shine on!
I use this product regularly to shine my boots for my uniform. Great quality, great brand. I will only buy this brand. If you need to shine your boots this is the brand. Those who know will understand.

Shines Like Gloss
I go to a military college in Charleston, South Carolina and I am no stranger to shining shoes. I have tried Lincoln and Kiwi products, but I have found none that can get the same consistent shine as this one with such minimal effort. I will say it helps me to take a new shoe (I use Florsheim's) and go over it about 5 or 6 times with limcild to get a good base. Run the shoe under the sink with the hot water turned all the way on to open up the leather a little and help the Lincoln work itself in. Then take and go over this with 2 or 3 coats of Saphir. wrap a white t shirt around your finger, wet it with water, get a medium amount of polish on the finger, then rub in small circles around a section of the shoe (shine a section at a time), work it in rubbing the same section until the streaks go away and it begins looking glossy. To get the final streaks out get a new, clean, piece of the t shirt around your finger and wet it down a little bit and rub in circles back over the section you were working on. Easily within just a few minutes of trying Sahir for the first time I was able to take my shoes from good to great. It is a little expensive, but if you want an amazing shine it is the best route I've found so far.

Fancy product at a Kiwi price!
I was in need of black shoes polish for military style shoes that have to be shined. I have been very familiar with Kiwi products and always felt that they dried up ok no the tin, gunked up the polish brush, and just over all was messy and not too friendly to use.Did some research online and came across the Saphir line. Took a bit to understand what each product was and decided on this paste.I wish this paste was in my life years ago and on the shelves of Walmart and everyone big box stores that only sell Kiwi. This goes on super smooth and without any mess. The brush has not been clogged and the paste isn't dry and unusable. Just a light touch on the paste and it butter ready to rub into the leather. The smell is a bit unusual because of the natural oil or waxes but it does make the shoes smell good.Do yourself a favor and buy it. You won't go back to that green fruit polish again!
