The shape of the plug adapter matters!
The adapter point with my google mini was circular. For this holder you need the rectangular one! Also if the cable happens to be long, its a little difficult it through the grooves of the holder

Works out great
Cleans up lose wires and gets the router out of the way. A little difficult to get the cord fed into the grooves.
