Urban Platter Artisanal Kombucha Tea, Chamomile, 500ml [The Relaxant, Floral, by Bombucha]

I ordered two bottles of Bombucha, first this mellow flavoured camomile and then the full flavoured hibiscus bottle. Loved the hibiscus more than camomile. I drank half of each and mixed half of both bottles into a repurposed glass jam jar. Left it with a cloth covering for nearly a week in a quite place in my Mumbai kitchen.A beautiful Scooby was formed and now I have repurposed the Bombucha bottles to do my second ferment. Pretty neat!

At first sip it was too fizzy and i had acid-reflux instantly. Then I realized i shouldn't have sipped it right after i opened it as the carbonation had to settle down. It is too fizzy once you pop it open ( and yes, it does POP u can literally hear it !!! ) .I should have let the fizz settle before I had my first ever sip. Nevermind! But its tastes good and after a while, the drink was not too strong and was easily consumable.This is my first Kombucha after reading a lot about it and i like the flavor Chamomile. I was set to order the other flavor Hibiscus lime but it went out of stock and so ordered this one. Well- priced for a 550ml bottle. But I would certainly like to see deals on this.Also, will try the other flavors soon. Please Urban Platter bring in the classic version of the Kombucha.For others : -- It tastes like a milder version of toddy :-). it tastes something like fermented buttermilk and by that I mean those watered down versions of buttermilk and nto the thick versions.- Packaging - Awesome. The bottle did not break and the cap and seal inside was intact. Thanks to the Bubble wrap.- Delivery- On time with no hassles.I am glad we have Indian sellers brewing it locally here. Thank You Urban Platter. Looking forward to more version of Kombucha too.

Didn't find any difference

When I say kombucha, I expect a tarty sweet flavor that is strong and somehow thick.This one just felt like a watered down flavoured drink. When the title says artisanal, I would love to see more flavor.

Urban Platter products are really good and of high quality.Being a Kombucha addict, was excited to see this product from Urban Platter. But quite disappointed with the delivery. The product expiry was 16th Dec and I received on 15th Dec. Need to be careful while ordering these fermented products as they might have negative effects post or close to expiry.

Taste is great as I love kombucha in general and this is easy to get in Delhi. I was happy I found it so easily on amazon. I ordered 3 bottles and in 1 the fizz was gone the other 2 were fine. I didn’t bother to return though. Will order again nice Kombucha.
