Adventures in Middle Earth: Rhovanion Region Guide

This is a nice collection of information on the areas around teh Great River and teh depths of Mirkwood. There are definitely areas that would for settings for a great adventure - the Lost Watchtower on page 19 jumped out at me as a place that I could have as a key location for a campaign and a final goal to restore. Mirkwood is a glorious and incredibly dangerous place. I love that the Forest is really a character, and as the Shadow grows the Forest gets more and more dangerous.Information on characters who would make good NPC and contacts or patrons. The stars are Radagast (a great patron choice) as well as King Thranduil (if no dwarves).Want to be a Woodmen of Mountain Hall or a Wild Hobbit?Beautiful maps of the Great River of the Wilderland and Mirkwood.144 pages.Anxiously waiting for the Mirkwood Campaign in hardcover as well as the map collection.

This is an excellent guide book to the Rhovanion region. The maps and illustrations are first class. The book came in excellent condition.

This book is loaded with info and you cant live with out it if your going to run a quest in the Wilderlands. My only complaint is the spine was kinda weak and the book has a funny smell to it.

If you like 5e and low magic settings get this book. Minus 1 star because there are places where it covers a few powerful NPCs and monsters but omits their stat blocks. Instead, and the Rovanion Region Guide tells you this, the stat blocks are in the Mirkwood Campaign book.

Great addition to the ever expanding M.E. 5e adventures. I'm biting my nails waiting for more!

This is a very good book, but just be aware that the information contained in this book is very similar or the same to that contained in The Heart of the Wild, although there is some minimal extra stuff, like expanded creature stats. Overall, though, the book is just a fancier version of The Heart of the Wild. Maybe I missed it, but something explaining this would have saved me money.

A very nice product. Some of the artwork is not my vision of Tolkien's world but it's a beautifully produced book.
