Bigfoot Outdoor Gravity 1P/2P Ultralight Backpacking Tents

Let me start out by saying that I have not recieved any compensation for my review....I purchased the Gravity 2 from Bigfoot after spending literally hours deciding on a well constructed tent that was light, reliable, strong, packs small and reasonably priced. Boy am I glad I did. This tent is great at 4.6 lbs I hardly notice it in my pack. Excellent design provides nice headroom and more usable space. I love that the pole sections are so small..... so gives the option for this tent to really pack down small. Tent is very well constructed... all seams are either double or even triple stitched. It comes in a nice storage bag that compresses and packs pretty small so eliminated my need to get another compression bag for it. Setup and breakdown is quick and easy. Only takes minutes. I can't wait to get out on the trail and enjoy my Gravity 2. I had contacted the seller about some of my questions and they were great. Excellent customer service! I'm very happy with my purchase and will be telling others about this tent cause I know my friends are going to want one. Thanks Bigfoot

This tent was super roomy compared to my eureka one person backpacking tent. It is a little heavier than Id prefer for backpacking but the price was much better than its competetors. The snap together design makes putting it together a breeze BUT it does slightly make taking it down a bit confusing. Nothing you cant figure out though. I have not yet used this in bad weather but the design is a great design for keeping out rain. I have high hopes and am very pleased with my purchase.

This review is for the two person tent as it seems both single and double are on the same product page here. Let me caveat this saying I haven’t stood the tent up yet as I’m usually terrible at that...however the description says this is easy to do solo i wasn’t about to set it up in my kitchen! Although the description doesn’t currently mention it, this seems to include everything you need, including some medium duty stakes. It definitely is lightweight and comes in a nice bag (see attached pics). I unboxed it for photos since the page didn’t have any. Instructions are conveniently sewed into the inside of the bag. Would buy again.

Tent itself is great. Low condensation. Lightweight and easy to set up. After 5 uses screw that attaches to the central connector stripped. Screw wasnt loose or overtightened. A lot of tension on the connector when set up which appears connector cannot handle the stress. Really do like the tent. Hopefully manufacturer will correct this problem.

I had a tear in the product the stitching over the whole tent was really poor the poles are aluminum and are decent quality the tent is really light weight and was a lot smaller in person than in the pictures online. The fabric is really thin like the netting and the floor and walls. The tent is really easy to set up thats all good i can say about this tent. I returned to amazon.

I camped in this tent all over Ireland in Los of wind and rain with no tarp underneath and only the stakes provided. I stayed dry with no problems. I am not very tall, so I was able to put my gear at the wide end on the rainiest nights. Some nights, it stayed outside in the vestibule. This tent worked out great for me!

I have used this tent over a long weekend and it was wet out not raining but the ground and air was wet. I had no water on the inside or bottom at all with the tent rain/wind top on. It is easy and quick to setup It works great and I would recommend it just beware it is really a one person tent. The tent is kinda small hence 4 out of 5 stars so if you are 6ft tall or shorter this tent is ok. I had just enough room for me and a few of my things but just barely. Overall quality tent no rips, tears, or issues of any kind. Havent used it for more than 3 days in a row but if anything changes ill update the review.

Bought this tent to get into backpack camping. I’ve used it twice and I’m really happy with it. Packs up nice and compact, plenty of room for two adults to sleep comfortably, really easy to set up and tear down. The only negative I can say about it is the weight. It’s a bit on the heavy side for backpacking but it’s a sacrifice I was willing to make for the price. I just strap it to the top of my pack. I like it so much I plan to purchase another so my family of four can go backpacking together.
