Excellent value - Quictent is an Excellent company
Tent structures such as this one are very easy to erect and can be erected by one person. They also provide shelter from rain and light snow. However, they are not very strong. After all, they are constructed from light metal poles and tarps. In heavy winds or heavy snow the structure can bend and break and/or the tarps tear apart. You can stiffen the structure if you fasten it ground anchors. Since tarps break down in sunlight, the tarps will last about 1 year. You can overcome that by buying additional heavy duty tarps (same color as the tent) and putting them over the original tarp, and then lashing them to the ground anchors as well. You will have to replace the covering heavy duty tarp every couple of years but in doing so will keep the original tarps in good condition.I did all of this with my tent structure. It was as strong as you could make it, but a thunderstorm with very strong gusts of wind still collapsed on corner. I contacted Quictent and they responded Very quickly. I gave them a lists of the broken poles, torn tarps, and ball connectors and within about 1 week they had replacement parts at my door. My tent structure is back up and with some securing changes, is stronger than ever. I could not be happier having purchased this structure from Quictent. They stand by their product and their warranty. They responded quickly and were very helpful.I strongly recommend to anyone purchasing a tent structure to purchase one through Quictent. If I make any more tent structure purchases I will look to Quictent First.

Easy build, okay material, missing parts.
The material is not as heavy duty as I was expecting, but it should do the job. My order was missing the doors and the side pieces, and had two (duplicate) roof pieces. Was able to get the other pieces that were needed, but definitely not much thicker than a good tarp.Update: After use of a few months, this structure has completely been destroyed by some wind. This was due to the construction of this 'heavy duty' carport. The side legs do not interlock the same as the roof pieces, with the legs only twisting into the top roof structure to be held. Although tied down to the ground, and pegged down, the legs still come apart. This has resulting in twisted and torn metal braces, destroying the carport. I'm now out on a $260.00 product, as it can no longer stand. I do not recommend this product.

Better than I expected + 1 Year review Update
I purchased this 20' X 10' car shelter for winter storage of my 2007 Toyota Tundra. Truck is stored in northern Minnesota and for $250 I wasn't expecting much and figured I'd give this solution a shot. I know there has been a lot of interest with regard to snow and how this shelter holds up. I'm pleased to say this shelter has (so far) survived one of the worst winters I've ever seen living here. With that said, let's begin. What I like:As mentioned my shelter holds a beefy pickup truck. It barely fits but I am able to secure both shelter door ends with no issues for a vehicle this size. I have to park closer to the passenger side wall to have enough room to get in and out of the cab, but this isn't a problem for me. If you plan to store a truck or something this size, I recommend going a size bigger to have the room. The roll-up sections tend to drag across the top of the truck roof due to the height of the vehicle when I pull in or out. I am able to roll open the end section by myself. My setup:This shelter is setup on our driveway next to a forest line. Due to the fact we live on sandy ground, I could not use the traditional twist/drill anchor kits. (I knew this going in so I opted for plan B) At each corner of the shelter I have two 60 lb bags of sand (total at each corner = 120 lbs). Ratchet straps and bungee cords combine with the sand bags to anchor the shelter in place. You do get pegs and tie-down lines with the shelter, however these seem better suited to secure the roof flaps/sides and do NOT recommend these be used as the primary anchor system. So far so good, the wind hasn't taken it yet.Installation:My father and I set this shelter up in an afternoon. It's fairly straight forward and simple. Securing the Bungee Ball tie downs was tough in some places, as some were tighter then others, which caused pulling and tearing. This was resolved by picking up slightly longer/bigger bungee ball tie downs at our local hardware store. 3 - 4 hours for us after all was said and done. What surprised me:This has easily been one of the worst, snowiest winters on record for Minnesota that I can remember. So far this shelter has withstood several snow storms, the polar vortex, some heavy wind days (speed unknown but it has been strong enough to make our house creek and crack during heavy gusts) and snow loads. The roof has been able to hold about 4 - 6" of snow (at a time), long enough for me to get to it and clear it off. **NOTE: This is a MUST! After every heavy snow I cleaned off the roof with a long push broom. I work on the roof from the outside first, then the inside. Firmly but gently pushing the snow off from inside seems to be the most effective method for me. (I have limited room to work with the truck in the shelter but I slip around easy enough to get the job done) At most it takes about 10-15 minutes if even that. The roof does bow inward with all the snow which is expected. So far no roof rips or tears after 5 months of snow removal. What I don't like:I consider this winter a good stress test for this product, despite the company of this shelter not recommending it for snow use. One of the roof corners (that pulls down to cover the corner support pole) was shorter or somehow slightly smaller than the other 3. One of the corners, as a result, does not cover the entire support pole. As mentioned above, some of the bungee ball tie downs are so tight they cause damage when secured. If snow accumulates along the shelter walls, the resulting extra pressure is transferred to the ends where the zippers are. The extra pressure can cause tearing between the zipper and the shelter material it is attached to. (This however may be preventable. See below)Final thoughts:For $250 this shelter has worked and worked much better than I expected. Not only does it house a big truck but it stands up to impressive amounts of snow on the side walls and roof. The sand bag anchor system has been doing the job and I plan to follow up this review in the spring to get a final score on the toll winter has taken on it.Just like the roof, it is important to keep the snow away from the side walls. I didn't do a good job of this, hence the pressure put on the end section zippers. Having discovered this I removed the snow and all is well. This shelter will work but constant snow removal is needed to keep it going through the harsh winter months. The included image with the high snow bank illustrates the pressure placed against the shelter wall. **I Highly recommend NOT letting this happen.** (It also makes it much harder to get in and out of a bigger vehicle due to loss of space from the wall bowing out)1 Year Update Review:A little over a year has passed since I purchased this carport tent. As of this writing, it is still standing, but with some damage which I am working with Quictent support to resolve. (I may add another update depending on how the support process goes)We had a wind storm earlier this week which unleashed near 50 mph winds for almost 2 full days. Had it not been for the sandbag weights securing the 4 corners, the high wings would have taken it easily. In fact, I fully expected to wake up to it gone or in shambles by the end of the second day.It was damaged in a few places, as shown in the updated pictures, but I'm amazed it withstood those brutal winds like it did!I now need to call on it to shelter my truck through another winter. I believe it is up to the task easily with some lite maintenance and care. So for those keeping score, this thing survived: 1 Polar Vortex winter, 12 months of weather punishment and 1 high wind storm that lasted almost 2 full days. The ropes included with the tent had to be replaced with stronger, orange rope from the hardware store (See pictures)but otherwise, no other special purchases have been needed.$250 was a steal for this thing. Highly recommended!

Good Autoshelter just as described
I was promised the shelter in 5-7 days and received it in 4. The shelter was designed nicely and assembled easy in about 5 hours, could've been faster except for the periodic wind. This is a replacement for a ShelterLogic autoshelter which was of poor quality material and construction, lasted only 14 months (no wonder only had 12 month warranty). Some parts were missing (Quictent's fault), I contacted the seller, Brandline, and Wendy contacted me with a request for a list of missing items, I told her the rope, bungee cords, stakes, and instructions were missing (never packaged at source). Wendy sent me an e-mail as to when I can expect the replacement parts that were express shipped.Wendy was very courteous, patiently answered my questions; great customer service, I will by from Brandline in the future.

The customer service is excellent.
This is a great carport for the money. Instructions were easy to follow and assemble. If anchored properly this carport can withstand pretty high winds. We live in SW Washington on the Columbia river so winds can get blowing through here quite strong. The only drawback is heavy snow and ice wich we had in Feb 2021. Needless to say the shed collapsed. The canopy was ok but the frame was destroyed. The carport is not covered under warranty for heavy snow and ice. We called customer service at Quictent to find out if it is possible to get a replacement frame. Heather in customer service was very helpful. She was able to get us the parts we needed at a reasonable price and shipped to us in a timely matter. Can't say enough about the customer service.
