The laptop arrived on time via a third party courier, who I regularly use and was extremely well packaged. I was somewhat surprised to find the item in absolute excellent condition, (having rather bad internet experiences in the past with other sellers),no signs of misuse or damage andante 'fired up' everything functioned as new. The casing and screen are blemish free and totally has the appearance of a new laptop.if I to consider the option of purchasing another one for my wife I would not hesitate.

I bought this renewed 2017 MacBook Air as a replacement for a 2012 model which, like me, is in poor health. I need my laptop for work and for keeping in touch with family and friends, since I have a compromised immune system and cannot risk breaching self-isolation for some weeks to come. This is a "Renewed by Amazon" product that, according to the advertisement, "looks like new". When I opened it, I found that the distinctive MacBook Air logo under the screen had been removed and the metallic sheen replaced by a dull, plastic appearance. I emailed CRS-UK and their first reply was evasive, but nevertheless instructive since it told me that generic parts had been used whenever a repair or substitution was required. The second reply, after a chase-up, admitted that my beautiful aluminium laptop had been spray-painted, obliterating the logo. I asked for a refund. CRS-UK refused to supply a reply-paid label or to pick up the item from my address. Amazon is not answering its customer service number ("to protect vulnerable people"), so I braved the Amazon chat bot and then two online service reps. I explained to them that my expensive laptop had been defaced and asked for it to be picked up at my home address, since I am immunocompromised and would be endangered by going to my local Post Office, which is in the city centre. A pick-up was not offered, so I asked to be passed to the Amazon A to Z Guarantee department. My correspondence with the chat bot and the service reps was not read by the A to Z team, who refused my refund in less than 24 hours because I had not been to the Post Office to return my defaced £700 purchase at my own expense and at my own risk. So the Amazon A to Z Guarantee means nothing and "Renewed by Amazon" can be translated as: "We disclaim all responsibility for this product and expect you to sort out any complaints yourself with the dodgy second-hand dealer we hired to spray-paint your iconic Apple laptop before advertising it under our own brand name and marketing it as 'looks like new'." I shudder to think what CRS-UK has done to the insides of this machine, if the outside was treated with that little respect, and I would not trust this company to honour any aspect of its after-sales warranty. I live very close to an Apple repair centre, but they would not fix a laptop which somebody else has cluttered up with non-Apple products, so it looks like I've paid £700 for a heap of plasticised metal with a screen that's already been set at maximum brightness and tinny sound quality . . .

I have just received my apple mac computer. It is in excellent condition and I am very happy great value for money.

Super happy with it! it looks brand new. loaded up super fast and was super easy to set up! I would highly recommend!!

This was bought to run Logic Pro for music production. Works a treat and perfect for portability. Also used in conjunction with DJ decks.

Looked almost new, and much better value than a cheap netbook would be. I have had several Macbook Pro models over the years, this was a gift for a friend, and both myself and they, were very pleased with this Macbook Air.
