Secret Diary of A Call Girl - Series 3 [DVD] [2010]

I purchased this but can't play it on my dvd player (US). Does anyone know how to get this season whether its online or US dvd version?! This is making me crazy because I did purchase all other seasons and they all work. I see it on amazon through prime or showtime, but don't want to go that route. HELP LOL

Fortunately for me I have a multi-region dvd player so I was able to watch this box set. It shows great and in full as it originally aired on Showtime. It had been so long since I'd been able to watch season three (it's no longer on demand) it was like watching it for the first time.This is my favorite season of this show. I guess the US will never be releasing season three on dvd...But if you have a multi-region dvd player it's safe to buy this dvd.I loved this show and I'm so happy that I own and can watch the complete series.

It is a shame that they do not have this in a format that can be seen on American DVD players.But here is what I did and you can do it too.Buy the Region 2 DVDs. Then use your PC or Mac to RIP those DVDs.You can save them to a hard drive and watch them, or burn them to DVDs that can be used in American DVD players.

More and more is revealed about Belle's type of man, and it is not always pretty. Billie Piper manages to show us the hardened soul that is required to do this work, and yet still remain soft, human, and have appropriate responses to truly odd and inappropriate behavior. The circumstances and scenarios her clients come up with become more and more absurd, but I really enjoyed it. It wasn't easy to find, and the format is different, but my MAC figured it out!

I was only disappointed a little bit.. Just because I thought it would be more stuff on the dvd, like on the other season disc sets I got from the US there was special features just a bit more.. love the season its good would be great in HD

ButI had to download a special converter to watch it on my computer it would not play in my xbox blue ray paper or ps3!

When ate they going to release the ntsc version of season 3? I want to be able to watch all 4 seasons without harming my computer!

The first 4 episodes of season 3 are pretty fun ; splosh! Showing humour and variations of british sex . The Bambi / Pete Docherty/ Byron storyline add to the plot too . But what I dont dont dont like is Belle suddenly morphing into a whinny Carrie from Sex in city ; oh no I cant get a boy friend / I will do any thing to keep my handsome publisher yuck . Every time Duncan appears on the screen I just want to boo and hiss. So by time this series has finished I just want to scream.

THe first series was fabulous. Sexy, funny and bittersweet. The second series was not nearly as good as there was far too much personal angst and not enough fun. The third series is back to the quality of the first. The addition of Belle's sidekick Bambie and her relationship with the unlikely Byron makes for compelling television. Billie Piper is very well cast and plays the role really well. Hoping for a third series. The James Bond episode is cringe-makingly funny and the episode with food is just too good. Enjoy!

Really enjoyed this when it was first shown on tv. Also excellent value for money.

This series was well driven and played with a very nice actress whose charm and beauty we will not forget. It's a pity the French television didn't import series 3 and 4. French television viewers would have deserved that because their TV productions are often short of audacity !
