Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Q463 (Maple Wood)

I bought this product as secondary phone. First two weeks was the most horrid time in my life. The phone was not getting connected to WIFI and data since the IMEI number was not registered. I reached out to the service center in marthahalli and they were useless. They connected me to micro-max Bangalore sales officer ( I am withholding the name only because he was Honest) and he told me that micromax is d DUMPING SUCH PHONES TO AMAZON THAT DO NOT HAVE EXTERNAL TAKERS. This products was redeemed as fake and only after I threatened that I will consider suing Amazon and micromax they fixed the software and now its working fine.Lets discuss about the pros and cons.Pros :1. value for money. For 5k this is good.2. The 3 GB RAM is not just in paper. This thing never hangs.3. Good call voice quality.4. Good Screen quality ( clear visuals)Cons :1. Scary Battery life ( Consider yourself lucky if it stays 5 hours after full charge)2. Non existent camera

Value for money

Nothing great.. got this for my mom but the phone isn't user friendly. If planning to get one for old people then go for Nokia instead of this.

I am honesty saying awesome look ,awesome ram,awesome internal battery is not so good but fast charge at first some day of using mobile is heating but after 2-3week is stop heating u can play games . At this price it is awesome

Phone is very nice.But the speaker is not at all good.The other person on call keep asking me to repeat as the voice isn't clear.Never experienced it in my old phone.Even if I use the handsfree it's not that clear. But manageable.

Giving camera and voice call issue

I thought it was good at first but a few days back while it was having some technical problem, I went to a Micromax service centre and there they were shocked to find out that this particular model did not exist in their official Micromax mobiles list. This only proves that this model is not genuine. Even an official complaint has been registered as well. So, it is requested to all the people who is looking through the reviews, not to buy this phone and suffer afterwards.
