Tidewater Fireside Hardwoods Kindling- 25 Pounds - 1-Cubic Foot - Made in USA

I was unable to find kindling that was much thicker than paint stirring sticks the last year or two. Consequently, getting a fire going in our fireplace often took more than effort than I'd like. Based on the average dimensions of each kindling stick listed in the Tidewater description, I thought I'd give these a try.I'm really glad I did! Three Tidewater sticks and a couple of Rutland Firestarter squares, and starting a fire is almost as easy as turning on the stove. There's some variation in size, but everything is much more appropriately sized than a paint stirring stick. Great product with really fast shipping. Highly recommended!

I have ordered two boxes from this company so far and I am getting ready to place an order for my third box. We burn a wood stove all winter to heat our house and these work perfectly along with 3 pieces of fatwood to get my hardwood logs started. I also own a Fornobravo pizza oven and these hardwood pieces work perfectly to keep the fire hot and add light to the oven while I am cooking. The tow boxes that I have received so far have been 100% hardwood, it appears like either oak or ash. No softwood in the boxes I have received. I highly recommend for a fire starter of for your wood fired pizza oven.

Excellent fire starter. At first & before using the product I was concerned it would not be able to generate enough fire and work as a fire starter. I was definitely wrong and it works above my expectations.Packaging in the box was clean and perfect. No mess. Just clean cut hardwood that work wonderfully.

As described. A nice box of hard wood. My box was mostly oak. Could use a bit more aging/drying so I'll probably order a second box now to have some fully dried for next summer's pizza cooking!

Can't beat this hardwood. The wood is perfect for kindling and lights up quick. All hard wood so no pine sap in your pit. Great way to start a fire.

Product definitely not as advertised. About 50% was hardwood, red oak, white oak, poplar. (Pile on left side of picture). The other half was some variety of soft wood (conifer, pile on right side). I bought this for my pizza oven because it stated it was 100% hardwood. It would be perfect if it were actually as advertised.

Some of the reviews had me worried. But the product that arrived was exactly what I hoped for. The wood is good pieces that make for great kindling. Not to small. But a good size to start a fire. Very happy with my purchase.
