Pretty good for the money. Surprising!
I've used this on two brake jobs now and I can say that I am VERY satisfied compared to what I thought. I had used C-clamps and bar clamps in the past to compress the cylinders. That worked, but it was VERY awkward to do. These make it significantly better. True, I still have to use one hand to both position and screw the thing in, but that's only to get it started. Once it's started, it requires only a little pressure to get the job done. This was on a car and small SUV, so your mileage might vary.

Works as advertised, but you really don t need it
My first time doing brakes and thought something like this was essential to do the job. It really wasnt essential. It makes it easy, but you can just use some pliers to do the same job. So, if you have money to burn, don't exactly know what you are doing and want the simplest and most fail-safe way to compress the brake piston, go for it...but if you want to save money on the job, this is a place to save a few bucks.

Worked like a champ
I usually use a large "C" clamp or Channel Lock pliers to push back the caliper piston. Decided to order this tool and was pleased with how well it worked. Will be using this for a long time.

Worked well but....
I still had to put a small piece of wood to push the brake clamp in.

Caliper Tool
The cheap/flimsy end plate that touches whatever you are using to press against caliper broke nearly immediately. Since I only had one caliper with an issue, purchased this inexpensive tool. Made it work, but should not have had to...

Great tool that you don't have to have but it sure makes a brake job easier and faster
Ordered this when I ordered brake pads on a lark because it was less than 10.00 I've used C clamps throughout my life but recently misplaced the clamp I had for years. This tool is perfect and alot quicker than a C clamp to push the caliper piston to the reset postion. My buddy that had came by as I was starting the job was amazed at the simplicity and ease of use. If you change your own brakes it's worth every bit of the money to get this to have. I purchased the standard version and not the heavy duty one, not sure why anyone would need the heavy version.

Works great
Many buyers complained of quality, but it held up fine and worked perfectly for me.Much easier than fiddling with a c-clamp.Should have got one of these years ago since I do brake jobs for myself, my family, and friends.

So helpful for brake jobs
Really wish I had this tool years ago for brake jobs. So easy to use, recesses the calipers so easily, without the need to fumble with clamps. The only thing I wish was the the end of the unit was a flat surface instead of me needing to go find a flat piece or using a brake pad. Not major, but sometimes I'm just doing a service, not a replacement, and don't want to damage the existing pads.

A good little tool to have in your brake tool arsenal.
I used to push the pistons back in with C-clips vise-grips before having this but this is more precise. The just need to make the handle bigger and covered in rubber to have more torque. I use a wrench with a rubber band to turn the handle and it works great. At 10$, it is worth it. Now, if the could also make a 2 screw adjustable version for dual piston calipers, it would be great.
