The book focused on some of the places I have always had in mind for my own travel, plus others I had not thought of. The photos were so inviting, and reminded me to take more time for more explorations of new and lesser known places. I bought several copies and gave them to friends and family for Christmas.

it is a nice picture book, and not intended for practical advice. Great for day dreaming. I saw it in my dentists office.

Excellent pictorial voyage through the great journeys of the world. The high definition images presented within are of stunning clarity and quite beautiful to the eye. The stories themselves are also wonderful and provide travel tips and general history that is both interesting and insightful. Would recommend this as a gift for any avid traveller.

Great book. It is more of an idea provider rather than an explanatory book of how to organize your trip. Still, it is good for those in searching of journey tours through different places. Good price and also it is quite heavy and big, so you can't carry it with you around. Just a coffee table book.

Well this is definitely a great start for things I'd like to do one day, My 12 year old Daughter and I read it and the other in the series together at her bed time.

This book is currently pride of place on the coffee table - absolutely beautiful and so inspirational. It really makes it seem like it would be so easy for me and my family to set out on any one of these journeys. Sumptuous photography with heaps of helpful information. A must read for anyone from avid travellers looking for inspiration and advice to 'armchair' travllers looking for a break from reality!
