I am super happy with this 12/24/36/48V Volt Battery Meter. I live in a super old, run down, decrepit RV trailer. 20+ years ago I installed a new voltage transformer [converts 120 volt A/C to 12 volt DC].I began to worry a little that after 20 years of constant use, may the voltage transformer will start fluctuating the voltage and damage some of my other 12 volt appliances.I was also using some items that recommend 13.8 volts vs. the 12 volts. So, I installed this voltage meter and I am super, super happy with the results! The sensitivity levels are dead on...when I turn on various appliances, the meter shows the slight dip in voltages with a super accuracy!This meter has a quality of workmanship far above the $8 price.The read out is super clear too. Don't let my picture deceive you. For some reason, my camera makes the read out look not so clear. I think it has to do with photographing LED's.I could not ask for a better meter at this price.

I am rating this product one star for now, but we will see if the seller makes it right. To start, I installed this on my 48V golf cart, and it worked for all of 3 hours. In terms of install, if you are able to make your own template and are handy with a dremel, it was fairly easy. The wiring could not be easier, since one wire goes to the positive pole on your battery and the other to the negative. That is the only reason for the 1 star rating. If they can send me a unit that works for longer than 3 hours, I will come back and re-rate.Edit: I contacted the seller about my issue above, and they were quick to reply and mailed me out a new unit. I have installed the new unit, and it has been a week so far and it continues to work as it should. I am therefore going to rate this 4 stars for now.

Installed on neighbors 48 volt electric golf cart that was having charging issues, now they can monitor battery strength.

I liked the price and the fact that it has a wide range of voltages it can measure. I like to keep my 36 volt e-bike battery at a safe storage voltage. The best online advice I could find said that would be between 40 and 80 percent of charge. Then before I ride I bring the battery to full charge. I got this meter so I can see the voltage level at a glance via its large numerals. It gives me a reading precise to one decimal place. Checking its reading against more expensive borrowed meters, it’s right on. To find the percent of charge when you have the voltage, Google something like “36 volt battery percent of charge.” After some searching I found a chart equating voltages to percentages of charge. For example, a check of the meter today shows 38.8 volts, which the chart says is 73% charged.

Came in a box to protect it. Directions just say black to neg and red to pos. The meter itself is encased with leads screwed into the case and seems to be pretty durable (not open solders to a computer chip to wiggle and break) so far mounted to my kids Razor bike. It's easy to read and is bright straight on but at angles you kinda have to hope your seeing what you think your seeing.

Wish it had 2 places after the Decimal point.

I put volt meters on all my Ebikes and this one is a nice meter for under 10 dollars.It is hard to read in direct sunlight but I think that’s true of most led displays. I like the fact that this meter has only 2 wires to hook up and seems to be pretty accurate —only off by about a tenth of a volt on my 48v Ebike. I just glued mine into my homemade switch box using silicone sealer.
