Marchioro Tommy C 120 Cage for Small Animals, 46.75 inches, Blue/Silver

I normally love this cage - it's spacious and one of the largest that you can buy for an indoor animal however the seller did a very poor job of packaging the product and the box arrived completely torn open and severely damaged. The bottom blue pan is busted with a large crack in the corner. It cannot be repaired because some of the pieces are completely missing. One of the shelves is gone and the hanger on the hay holder is torn off so there is no way to attach it to the cage. The water bottle leaks and is basically worthless. Overall I am very disappointed with this purchase but since I am in dire need of housing for a new bunny that I just bought, I duck taped the crack/hole in the plastic blue bottom pan and bought a new water bottle. It's ok except for the fact that the bunny has to do without 1 shelf and the hay holder. If there was another cage available, I would have exchange it. However since this was the only one, I decided to keep it as is. It would be nice if I could get some type of discount though.

So, these appear to be the perfect cage.... except it has no ramp. I was so disappointed when we realized it doesn’t have a ramp...

Along with adopting our bun, we were given a well used Tommy 102.Even used, it served us well for four years. She's grown, so I gave this new cage to my daughter as a birthday gift to her bun.Despite the bulk of this package, this did make it through the UPS system in great condition. Not a scratch.The cage went together very easily, and appreciate that it came with a water bottle, bowl, two optional shelves, and a hay rack. Would have loved a nice corner litter pan!I was surprised, given the size and strength of larger animals that would typically live in this cage, that more than four door sliders should have come with it...the 2 for each door (4), as well as at least 2 MORE for the top hatch. But alas, it did not, and I have some concern that a strong animal could push a side of the top cover up, then have it snap down and trap a body part like a mouse trap.Additionally, with this larger size, I would like to see a second set of the claw like end clamps (that hold the wiring to the bottom tray), in order to firmly affix the centers of the two long sides to the tray.I have emailed Marchioro about this, however it seemed to end up in Italy first...awaiting to see if the USA office contacts me.Addendum. I received an email that only requested my shipping address. I replied.A few days later, and envelope full of beige door slides arrived direct from the Marchioro USA office.No note enclosed, but it was a quick response!

We ended up sending this one back as it arrived damaged.

I bought this cage for my baby hedgehog in January 2017, and almost a year later, it is still holding up and like brand new! We LOVE this cage and recommend that people splurge for the bigger size. Initially, I was going to get one of the smaller Marchioro or a hamster cage since my sister was insistent about it taking so much room, but I’m glad I didn’t listen and went with this huge one :). I’ve bought so many things for my hedgehog, I know I couldn’t have fit everything in a smaller sized cage.Also, the Midwest cage liners that people custom make were the ones I purchased for this cage, and they fit perfectly. Hedgie has enough space for two food and water bowls, an igloo, huge litter pan, huge wheel, a tunnel, and two play areas! That is some serious living. And although we let her free roam with supervision at night, she prefers to be in her mansion and feels most comfy there. She’s very cautious walking around outside but she is so active when we put her back in the Marchioro.The cage is a darker blue in person, and we took the two risers out because hedgehogs aren’t very good climbers. There are two openings in the front of the cage and a huge opening at the top (just like in the advertised picture). I always use the front, left-side opening to access her wheel for wheel cleaning, and the right-side opening to grab her food and water bowls. The top opening is SO convenient when I am cleaning out her cage because I can just reach in there and grab all her things and fold up her fleece liner to take outside and get all the hedgie-poo off, and then throw in the wash.This cage is so roomy, and since it has the bars, there’s plenty of ventilation on all sides. In winter, we do cover the top and one side of the cage with fleece liners to keep more warmth in the cage and where we have a draft by the door to Hedgie’s room. It’s nice to have the option to cover the cage instead of having some sides without ventilation like the plastic storage bins. In the summer, it’s nice the cage has great aeration which keeps it smelling fresh and not damp and gross.Anyhow, we love this cage so much and as you can see in the pictures, there’s so much room here that you can make it a little wonderland for your pet!

Product arrived with 3 of the cage corners broken. The box has very little protection inside. It was also a huge mess sending it back for a refund.

First I have had rabbits for over 6 years and this is the best cage for them indoors. It doesn't have a tray it is a solid bottom cage so the rabbits don't snag their toenails or paws in the wire. It is easy to clean as long as you have a large trash can. I personally just pick it up and tilt it in the trash can, and I then rinse it off and dry it. It takes hardly any cleaning because my rabbits mainly go in their litter boxes. There are two doors on the front long side so the rabbits can go out to run in your room if you place this cage on the floor. There is also a very large door on the top making it easy to access. It does come with plastic shelves, but if you have a rabbit over 4 lbs it will eventually break or when you take them out to clean (just the wear and tear will break them). I have called marchioro and gotten absolutely free replacement parts (but this was also at least 2 years ago). I did look online and you can get a complete set for $9.99 (which you won't need for years). Love theses cages and their side doors so I can let the bunnies roam.

Are there pull out trays ? One or two ? I hate it when there is only one picture to view , and the description does not mention this
