Better than the medications
A member of my family has been suffering from major depression disorder for four years. During this time her various docs prescribed most available anti-depressants without much effect, and she also unsuccessfully tried various mood improving supplements. When we came across this formula (it was mentioned in one of the alt medicine books) she started with 1 capsule a day. (The label recommends 3 capsule/day, but she was continuing taking anti depressant meds, and taking two things that increase serotonin may be not a good thing because of serotonin syndrome concern). She was also taking 400mg of SAM-e. After about a month she got nearly complete relief from her depression. Then she began slowly lowering the dosage of her prescribed medication (against her doc's advise) one notch every 3-4 weeks. After 4 month she got completely off the medication while continuing with 2 capsules of Seratonin and one SAMe. The combination of these two formulas was a life changer for our family.
