Super handy for modelling!
I print a lot of 3D models and many require finishing (sanding) and painting. I have a large collection of sanding blocks and tools, micro sanders, sanding sponges etc, but I continually find myself trying to get into small areas with find detail with sanders that just don't fit. I ordered these sanding twigs with a bit of skepticism, but once I tried them I was sold! They are well made and come in an assortment of grits. They seem quite durable and the grit is good quality and appears to be quite long lasting. My only negative comment is that it might be nice if they came sorted by grit instead of all mixed in the bag, but that's being picky, right? Now that I've tried these little beauties, I wouldn't think of finishing without them!

They work well.
For something that was reasonably priced, I was pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness of these. The grit is sturdy too. I wouldn't use them to sand a big block of wood, but for small jobs, they worked well for me.

Nice little detail sanders
These are going to make handy detail sanders for the small woodworking projects I do. I would have rated them five stars, but the name implies and I expected they would be round (cylindrical). They are not - they have a square cross-section with two of the sides coated with abrasive and the other two smooth. Even so, they should do the job well. There is a good variety of grit coarseness in each bag and so far they seem strong enough to take the pressure of sanding without bending or breaking.

These are really great! MADE IN THE USA!!
The seller should advertise the fact that these are Made in the USA! I automatically look at items that have that, and will pay more for it. Great price on these, and you receive plenty! I got some sanding sticks at about the same time i received these, and the sticks started out great, but then I realized that they are merely coated with the abrasive, and when you are trying to remove material, it's just removing the abrasive grit from the plastic sanding stick. Those are NOT made in the USA. These are absolutely fantastic in overall size, and they are nice and flexible but firm enough that they aren't yielding. I've mostly used the coarser grit so far, but these seem to be as good as the Revlon emery boards that you can buy. I'd buy these again, but I won't need any for quite some time. Will automatically return here and buy them if this price is constant. They aren't cheap, but they're worth the cost.

MUCH cheaper to buy straight from the manufacturer
I like the variety of the sandpaper grits, but there really isn't any easy way to tell what grit they are. The colors are consistent and I separated my five bags into something a bit more organized. Didn't get an even remotely even distribution of grits between the five bags (20+ of several types and 1-2 of others).I went to the manufacturer's website and discovered that the same product is almost shamefully cheaper there. Assuming I am able to use up my current supply, I'll go there instead for next time.

Great for small jobs, tight places.
Each stick lasts longer than I thought it would. They don't just fall apart. No instructions telling which color is which grit. Just had to go by feel.

Handy and cost effective
I have found these to be very useful for detailed sanding when making wooden ship models. The twigs are flexible enough to work on curved surfaces easily and stiff enough to control the work. They are useful in constricted areas and the variety of grades means a great finish can be achieved. So far the sticks seem very durable so the packages are going to last a long while and are good value for money
