I have recently installed a couple of these inlets and I was very impressed by the quality. I would give these a higher rating than Cooper or Reliance for their over all build. A very solid device.

The cover is what attracted my attention. All this type of plugs should have covers Like this (usually used for high voltage/current).Will help prevent accidental electrocution!!

Constructed for in-wall installation this quick connector powers my portable maple sugaring shack. Makes weather proofing the exterior electrical power cord simple.

Used as part of code-compliant backup generator installation. Also used rain-tight enclosure, and suitable lock-out breaker for circuit breaker panel.

Easy twist lock feature. keeps it in place. I use this plug to power a small house from a generator during power outages.

This is a very sturdy piece with a nice robust cover. The wire connection points look to be very solid.Unless the alloys are lame and it decomposes outside, I will give it a thumbs up.

Lots of cheap plastic, but it seems to work.

I needed a male 14-30 receptacle for the wall inlet to the fuse panel to hook up the portable generator for emergency power. The generator is on wheels and can move outside the garage for use with a 10' 240 volt 30 amp cable. I found that this receptacle was perfect for the job and also included a weatherproof rubber cover (not really needed for my application inside the garage but makes the whole setup look a lot neater) and it was cheaper than the ones that didn't have this feature. The square box cover that included the 2 1/4" diameter hole was not quite large enough for the receptacle to fit in (both same diameter) so I had to take a half round file and slightly massage the metal cover hole to a little bigger diameter so the receptacle fit snugly into the hole then I drilled 3 holes using the receptacle as a template and installed 3 nuts and bolts to attach the receptacle securely. Voilå! Ready to attach the wiring and install unit on the inlet box.

I Couldn't get the usual generator receptacle that I normally use so thought I would try this product, seems OK , I liked the price.

Have yet to install and use so durability unknown. For infrequent generator connection it should last.

Replaced an existing outlet of lesser quality.
