Typical model and only issue would be the limited amount of aircraft provided, along with the type. If one was going to build to a set time period, more similar scale aircraft would be needed.

It was a great gift!
I love it because it shows the ship as it was originally built. My son was stationed on the Ike when he was in the Navy, and I bought it as a present to him.

Too many TINY parts.
No fun to build because of the small scale. This would frustrate any modeler: young or old, novice or experienced. Just try to prep, glue and paint these small parts! Good quality model otherwise.

Missing parts.
Some one had opened the decals packet and taken all but one sheet, it was so dried out the decals wouldn't stick to the model. The other items were fine.
