Kokedama Elephant Bush - Portulacaria Afra

My Jade plant and Elephant bush has just arrived. Thank you for the safe and secure packaging. Hopefully they will continue to thrive and survive. Grateful for the tip sheet that came w/ it.👍🏼👍🏼

Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai, where a plant's root system is wrapped in moss and bound with string, transforming it into a sculptural art form. Loosely translated, 'koke' means moss and 'dama' means ball. See the attached photos, of the packaging and the product I received, and decide for yourself if that is a Kokedama.The root where in loose soil, and the instructions I received with the plant indicated that I should "transplant in well-draining soil". I am not an expert, but I am fairly sure that you are not supposed to plant a Kokedama. I tried to return it, the same day I received it, but the seller never responded, and I received a notification later stating that the return window had lapsed. Maybe I was supposed to just send it back and hope for a refund. I was expected to hear from the seller to let me know what I should do. My son and I where hoping for a better experienced when we ordered this together for his Mom Mothers Day present.The story did end well, with the two of them heading off to the store for moss and string and transforming it into there own kokedama.

It is a very pretty Kokedama only the Miss ball is very small. I though it was a little bigger but anyway it is a very nice plant.
