JUNKERS - Men's Watches - Junkers Bauhaus - Ref. 6046-5

This watch is a great watch for anyone into a simplistic planar design and nothing over the top. It is comfortable and light (but heavy enough to give you a genuine feeling) and really well fitting. The strap is long enough for the thickest of wrists, and the buckle adjusts really well for a comfortable wear. I have loved it and I believe the price in correlation to such a beautiful and artful watch is just right. It also has fluorescent material that allows you to tell the time when dark.5/5, would buy again (however now that I have one I don't see myself buying another watch, but it gets the point across)

Watches are lightweight and are as advertised. Dial color is crème rather than white (google "creme color" and wikipedia page will show you accurate color); I like it since it adds sort of vintage feel.Note that "hesalite crystal" means plastic "glass" instead of real glass or sapphire. It's rather easy to scratch, so be careful. Google suggests you can out-polish the hesalite scratch, I didn't try it yet, your mileage may vary. I guess it's standard in this price range since sapphire glass would drive price up.

Style: Exactly what you'd expect from a Bauhaus style watch. Skinny hands, small sans-serif lettering, and a just touch of glow-in the dark that easily lets you check the time throughout the night. I wasn't sure about the date at first, but found myself using it often so it has grown on me. I replaced the leather band with a stainless mesh band and it works very well.Accuracy: The Swiss quartz movement hasn't lost a second in weeks, so no surprises there. As others have stated, the second hand is a bit off the mark for part of the sweep.Durability: I've worn this for several weeks in an industrial environment. After who knows how many bumps and scrapes it's endured, I've only managed to put one tiny scratch on the dome. Supposedly this material can buff out, but I don't find some small signs of wear to be a bad thing.

Stunning timepiece, it has a decidedly vintage appeal to it. I had two concerns while awaiting its arrival:Firstly, the colour of the dial - I have seen it in a light beige as well as an unappealing sallow colour. The watch I received was a lovely beige - very classic look, it will age wonderfully.Secondly, the size of the case - in some depictions the watch looked oversized on most wrists. However, it is spot on for me with a 19cm (7.48") wrist circumference.Overall: A solid quartz movement with an elegant aspect without needless details, this timepiece is a keeper.

The timepiece itself was nice, but the band was really cheap. Makes me second guess the true quality of the entire piece. I'm not rolling the dice.

Love this piece. I own a dozen other watches but this one is unique. Thin, light and comfortable to wear. Dial shows everything you need and nothing you don't. Refreshing change from heavy bezeled dive watches. How many of us really scuba dive anyway?

This is a beautiful watch, and I can recommend it, but as for the 19mm band width? I have purchased 2 different bands to swap out, and both of them have been too small. I'll order a 20mm, and hope that does the trick.

I like this Watch. It is not to big not to small not to thick. For me is pretty much elegant! I like it. I received it as gift, and if I have to give a gift, if I could, to my best friend I will give this one.

Love this watch. With a Fluco tan suede band or Watchgecko blue suede strap. Perfect for any outfit!

Une belle montre au look indémodable. Tout en finesse

Die Uhr wurde durch Amazon wie üblich mit DHL sehr schnell geliefert. Da sind beide unschlagbar. Durch den Hersteller, war die Uhr in eine schöne, schwarze Schachtel mit Magnetverschluss und Junkers Logo verpackt worden. Die Uhr gibt schon auf den ersten Eindruck ein sehr gutes Bild ab. Sie ist nicht zu groß und auch nicht zu klein. Ich finde die Uhren ab 45 mm wirklich zu klobig. Dass das Glas aus Kunststoff ist, ist nicht von Nachteil, im Gegenteil. Selbst ganz teuere Uhren haben heute Kunststoffglas. Dadurch ist sie schön leicht an der Hand, und man merkt kaum, dass man eine Uhr trägt. Meine alte Uhr musste ich im Büro öfters mal ablegen, da ich sie als zu schwer empfunden habe. Das cremefarbene Ziffernblatt kontrastiert sehr gut mit dem dunklen Leder des Armbandes. Das Armband ist etwas dunkler als auf dem Photo und wirkt in Natura noch schöner als auf dem Bild. Das Leder ist hochwertig, sehr geschmeidig und angenehm zu tragen, kein Vergleich zu einem Kunstlederarmband. Die Uhr soll an die große Zeit von Junkers und des sehr sachlichen Bauhaus Stils erinnern. Sie wirkt einfach nur zeitlos schön. Alle Einzelheiten auf dem Ziffernblatt wirken in sich sehr harmonisch und ausgeglichen. Das gewölbte Glas gefällt mir besonders gut. Die Uhr läuft quarzgenau und sowohl die Uhrzeit, als auch das Datum sind kinderleicht einzustellen. Das Junkers Logo befindet sich auch seitlich auf der Krone, ein sehr schickes Detail wie ich finde. Das Edelstahlgehäuse wird durch vier winzige Schräubchen gut und dicht verschlossen ;-) Ich kann diese Uhr wirklich weiterempfehlen.

I brought this watch as I love the brand and know the quality, I seller was excellent dispatched from German very quickly and so far the watch is everything I would expect looks good and is simple and clear. As a teacher, time is important and this time piece this watch does the job and looks good. I would recommend wholeheartedly.....David Rees Sarratt England
