This is a convenient way to read Shakespeare. SparkNotes does a great job with the "No Fear" series.

The book is great. Recommended to those who want to enjoy Shakespeare completely.The paraphrase is quite accurate and easy to refer to when the original text doesn't make scene.Additional notes on characterisation and informative commentary make reading very enjoyable and easy.

Shakespeare on one side and the "translation" in plain English on the other. This is how to read Shakespeare and actually understand what it means. Brilliant!

LOVE IT
Absolutely adore No Fear Shakespeare! I always used to use the online version to help me with essays but decided i might as well just buy the book and now I regret not buying it sooner! Whenever I read Shakespeare 90% of the words just go straight over my head but with this I understand everything. Cannot recommend this enough, even the layout is simple and easy to read. Combine this with the Yorknotes for Antony and Cleopatra and you're on your way to an A* :)

Studied at school and never really appreciated. Sparknotes make it easier and it's so good to have a modern translation alongside rather than having footnotes as most other publications do. Really worth the expenditure.

This is a good book, and you do not need a separate onne either. Howver, I myself still found alot of the dialogue to be rather hard to understand, desppite having this to help me. If this had more explainations of each act etc it would be perfect.
