So disappointing
There is hardly any content......and any story. My 5 yrs old found it extremely boring ...I hv tried other books also by the same writer...and they are equally disappointing....

Cute Interactive Story
A good read-out-loud story for 3-4 year olds... 5+ kids can read on their own. Nice theme about a hopeful, persistent pigeon (much like any toddler), although I wish the ending also had some words instead of pictures.

A Decent book, but not great!
The pigeon is funny, but my daughter didn't find the book that interesting. It is missing a story line, except the pigeons reasons for driving the bus. So failed to catch my daughters interest.

Must have!!
After reading this, I do understand why this is a cult book. The pigeon is simply adorable, he just wants to drive the bus. And like all little ones, give 105 reasons for doing it. The pigeon is absolutely hilarious, so persistent and so sweet. Little ones will just love saying no to him.

I am sure lots will love it, for me
I bought this thinking it would be full of pigeons adventures driving a bus, but it's just about a pigeon who does not get to drive a bus and keeps getting told no. I understand the concept (teaching kids they can't have their own way all the time etc), but personally I prefer a more imaginative book where things can happen that would not happen usually i.e. a pigeon driving a bus! I am sure lots will love it, for me, no.

Adore this book!
I think this is quite possibly my favourite children’s picture book of all time! The style of the bus driver and pigeon talking directly to the reader is quite unlike anything else I have read to my class as a teacher - and now parent.I think some people just don’t get the brilliance because it’s a different kind of thing but they’re missing out because it’s hilarious! 😀

Great fun!
My 7yo & 4yo grandsons LOVE these books. The pigeon, the duckling, the man who asks for our help - we take turns to be each character and the audience who respond to the pigeon's entreaties. If you have a sense of humour (particularly an appreciation of the ridiculous), you'll laugh like a drain at these books!

Mo Willems does it again!
I was introduced to Mo Willems by my girlfriend who simply loved his Pigeon series of books. Having noticed she had given up her copy as a present for her friends child, I surprised her by getting her a replacement. The books are a great size with bright, colourful illustrations. The stories are child and adult friendly and we both thoroughly enjoy getting the book out from time to time to flick through the pages and be amused by the characters. We are in our mid-thirties and I can simply say this book is not just for kids! I would say this is the best book in the 'Pigeon' series but the others are worth a look too!

Ideal for the Grand kids
Only got this yesterday but I know this is going to be great for the grand kids. I read it straight away. It is funny, short and will i have no doubt have them very engaged. It was reduced when we bought it but great value. And remember, Dont let the pigeon....
