Perfect fit
Perfect fit on my 1998 Ranger bass boat. Used a plastic hammer and tapped it in for a snug fit.

This insert worked perfectly. My Ranger boat came with the springfield style posts. My fishing partner prefers a standup casting seat, and I had an older Swivl-Eze post that I wasn't using, except it had the 3/4" threaded post which isn't compatible with the springfield type. So I bought this, and installed it on the rear casting deck. Works great! Just had to put a tad of grease on it and tap it in with a rubber mallet. Perfect solution!

I do have to either sandpaper the pedastal or take a little off of the adapter

Had no trouble installing this bushing. Tap it in with rubber hammer. Perfect fit.Supports 3/4" pin pedestal very good.

Didn’t Fit … Not Even Close
Pedestal Rod Adapter was way too big to fit into Springfield post. The hard plastic was difficult to try and manipulate to fit into the post.Complete waste of time and moneyBuy at you own risk
