Could be longer 1 " longer
Hi, I bought these to put on a 2006 chevy silverado dually. They fit, BUT they are about 1 " shorter then they should be. They need to make a 4 " set. They barely make it out to the edge of the hole in the dualies. It appears if you need to add air you will need to hold the extension with a pair of needlle nose vicegrips to keep from pushing the stem back in. Also I put a 135 * on the outside tires. I put it on across 180 * from the rear tire one. I was concerned about about tire balance. They don't seem to have an il effect on the balance as I have had the truck up to 70MPH since and it's still smooth. I would suggest that Pacific Duallies would make a 4 " set . Reason #1 the 135 * set contains about 4" of tube. If they made a 4 " straight ,then maybe they would be more balanced. Reason # 2 , as I stated before, these don't quite reached out to the edge of the wheel hole. They are made out of heavy tubing, I have had them on several weeks now, none of them have leaked.I tried to call Pacific Duallies on a business day, and got some message about being closed . So I didn't get to voice my concerns to them first. One question I had for them was..... Should you remove the inner valve stem??? I was thinking if you had a flat along the road, and wanted to put the green SLIME in the tire. you can't do it with the valve gut in there. SO I guess you would still have to remove the tire. Anybody know? DO you put SLIME in first before you put the extension on?Overall, I am pleased with the product, well made. Only hoped they woud make a 4" set. I looked on the net for 4" Pacific Duallies , I couldn't find any.

Work well, 2nd set. Would buy again! (obviously)
This is the second set of these I have bought. I went through a couple of different brands before finally finding these. These are the best extenders I have bought. These seal and don't leak. It is easy to add air when needed. This new purchase is because of a blowout. The tire on the tag axle on my motorhome blew chunks of tire between the dual wheels and bent the valve stem and this extension which caused it to fail. I didn't have any bad experience with these extenders at all until that happened. Obviously not a fault of this product. Just how it works. They can be installed with your fingers and seal every time for me. Great product. Checking your tire pressure on any vehicle is necessary, but with a truck with dual wheels, it is often overlooked until it is too late. These extensions make it easy to check the inside wheel. I have "beauty" rim covers so the hose type will not work for my purposes. I have the Pacific Dualies 18135 135 Degree Valve Stem Extension - Set of 2 on the outside wheel with the same experience. They come with nice chrome caps to keep the dirt out. Perfect purchase.

Was misinformed on the phone; not stainless steel.
Contrary to what Pacific Dualies told me on the phone last week (the guy really didn't want to be bothered about answering questions either, and I should have got his name), these are NOT STAINLESS STEEL.Their other products might be, but my hacksaw says these are chrome plated brass. I bought two sets of these to evaluate for a non-truck project, hoping to cut them to length and thread the end. They needed to be stainless for our application though, and I was assured on the phone that they were. I really don't care about the $17.50 per set, I only care that I was misinformed by the manufacturer about their own products. Will look into returning the unopened set, but only if return shipping is free.Per their web site:"Pacific Dualies offers a wide variety of quality stainless steel valve stem extenders and air inflation kits for all types ofrecreational, commercial, and industrial vehicles. Our kits are made for outer wheels and inner dual rear wheels. It isrecommended not to use our valve stem extenders with rubber valve stems. If you use steel valve stems / extenders, be sureto have an authorized mechanic replace the rubber valve stems as well with steel valve stems; otherwise you will havedifficulties with installation and maybe even problems with air leaks."As a side note, they have a very small center bore, somewhere around 0.095 inches. That's probably for strength when made out of brass, but I can't imagine how long it will take to inflate a tire through such a tiny bore.Into the trash they go.

PURE JUNK!
Put these on the front steer axle rims of my friends motorhome and while they were sitting in her yard, the tires went from 110psi to 28psi overnight! I had a similar experience with the 180° extensions as well. You cant get them so seal onto the valve stem no matter how tight they are snugged down.

Very difficult to use; I wasn't able.
I needed a valve stem extender to inflate a tire with an unreachable valve stem. This item is poorly designed for my purpose in that part that screws onto the stem turns separately from the rest of the extension. Since i cannot reach the valve stem to screw on a stem cap, I necessarily cannot screw this extender on to the valve stem. I see no reason to not have the entire extender be one solid piece that can be screwed on by twisting the long end of the stem.I tried screwing it on to a valve stem that was easily accessible and found this product to be poor quality such that it was difficult to get it screwed on more than a 1/4 turn.

Perfect fit
I had been searching for this exact part for a year! It is the right length and diameter to attach to the stock "short" valve stems on my f350 dually...…… Highly recommend these ! ! !

Leaks - will have to return.
Well, add me to the list of folks who couldn't get them to seal. No matter how I tried, they kept blowing soap bubbles. Here's the weird thing - the curved ones I bought from the same manufacturer sealed just fine! Makes no sense, but here we are. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere for tight fitting straight extenders.
