King of Thieves

After reading bad reviews I was curious, After all it has Michael Caine in it. After watching it I was pleasantly surprised, it is really good. The crooks planned the heist so well but the film reveals why ur sent the way it did. And Jim Broadbent shows his acting by being totally opposite to his normal characters. Of course I look up after the watching and found that this film is probably closer to what happened. I really enjoyed this movie.

With such a brilliant cast I imagined this was going to be really watchable. Watched it once and gave it away! I'm not averse to the odd swear word but it seemed every other word was swearing! Shows poor writing if that's all they can come up with for a script. Saw another version with lesser known actors and it was brilliant! Really disappointed with Michael Caine etc. version.

It's amervlous film

Based oh the hatton jewellery robbery Starring m cain, gambon, courtney and other A type stars, funny crude, swearing constantly how they turned on each other, the police operation which i thought was brilliant. Where the police are about to move in on their gang, was hysterical shouts of "dont f" "" "move" move! Brian couldly hardly walk, and as the armef cop on the garage stalking courtney, courtney plays the guy whose stone deaf as courtney walks away from his car, the cop fumbles his magazine it falls onto the floor and courtney is totally oblivious and carrys on walking into his house. Friend happy

A watchable film but lacking in real excitement or tension.The best of British actors but a poor script and not really an insight into how the crime was committed or how it was solved. The criminals seemingly walk through the front door in full view of the CCTV which plays an obvious major part in identifying the culprits. Intercepting mobile phone conversations may have been new back in the time of the robbery but they even use their own cars in some scenes in Hatton Garden. My partner enjoyed it but I was disappointed.

Great film. Great actors. worth watching.
