Sober is a very unique flatware pattern with a high shine mirror finish, containing many interesting design elements. The handle is a flattened round shape, with a round end, and a twisted rope embossed design, for a very unique look. Every piece is dishwasher safe. Both the place spoon and teaspoon are large sized with semi-heart shaped bowls, and the dinner knife has a wide blade, like an oversize butter knife. Each piece except the knife is hallmarked "Herd mar 18/10 Portugal" on the back of the handle; the knife is marked Herd mar on the blade. Herd mar manufactures high quality flatware since 1911 in Guitars, Portugal, home of that country's fine metals businesses for centuries.
