Having looked through several slicers, I got it into my mind that the slicer came with three blades. I was wrong, this one comes with one blade. But that has proved to not be a problem, as the blade cuts bread, cheese and ham cleanly, so I don't see the need for three blades. The blade removal is very simple and effective for cleaning - be careful, it is very sharp! I saw comments about the motor not being powerful enough, but this is certainly not the case. I get the impression that if you were to press too hard down onto the blade it would cause friction but you only need to put pressure on feeding into the blade, not down onto the blade. It is very easy to clean afterwards, removing the few crumbs or bits of meat or cheese that inevitably are created. The food carrying 'trolley' tips right out of the way. It took 3 or 4 uses before the motor 'ran-in', what I mean by that is it was very electric-motor smelly and noisier than I would expect, but that became fine after some usage. The four sucker feet hold it firmly to the worktop, so no sliding as you push the food into the blade. So far, a good slicer with good capacity for a large loaf, lying on its side.

The price seemed more than reasonable , saves a lot of money doing my own thin slicing for sandwiches and that was the main factor in my decision. The blade comes off easily (no tools needed) for cleaning, very easy to clean and i am very satisfied . Well worth the money.

This meat slicer is small yet does slice to different thinkness hence very useful for my restuarant use. Having this in my kitchen saves me lot of effort.
