A newer version of an old school classic
Before I go any further I will just say that the bottle I received is not the one in the product picture with the black logo on the front.Mine is the bottle with a white logo and silver lid which is said to be a much newer formulation and not as potent as the pictured one at this time of writing. . .Launched in 1973 Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is a masculine spicy scent for manly men! Grrr!!! Although this is not the original oak moss heavy formulation, it still smells good and not too far away from the old school classic, to me anyway :)What's in this fragrance?Top notes - rosemary, Clary sage and Brazilian rosewoodMiddle notes - Tonka bean, Lavender and GeraniumBase notes - Honey, Amber, Musk and OakmossA few splashes of this and you are good to go for about 6 hours i'd say. Not too bad.My little thistle (she's lovely to look at but. . . can sting!) says "it makes my knees knock and I feel all googly inside"That'l do for me :)Recommended

Classic aftershave
This has been my husband's favourite aftershave for years: he occasionally tries something new but invariably ends up going back to this one. I suppose it is what could be described as a classic. It has a masculine woody, musky base with spicy/herbal notes on top with a touch of citrus. It seems to last well too - I can usually still smell it on him when he comes home in the evening. It probably isn't the aftershave for a teenager, or the metrosexual male, and it isn't trendy or fashionable, but if it is still being made after thirty or more years it obviously still has wide appeal.

Paco Rabanne Pour Homme Aftershave Splash for Men 75 ml
First time trying Paco Rabanne, a change from Aramis which is overpriced. It lasts the day without fading much. Some aftershaves start off nice but soon smell decidedly less appealing after an hour or two, thankfully this is not the case with Paco.Nice tones with none of the fruit or petrol smells a lot of aftershaves have today. For the mature gentleman such as myself is has the traditional clean, herby undertones. for those who will understand what I mean, I would say it is up a step from Tabac, Brut and Old SpiceHow effective it is in attracting the young ladies I shall report.

Very happy customer :)! Would buy again
Bought this item for my partner at Christmas, I didn't have much money and wasn't expecting to be able to buy something like this for so little money, my partner is 27 and needed a more mature smelling aftershave.. I read the reviews and hoped for the best! It arrived and I didn't test it, just left it in the packaging (all sealed and brand new) so my partner could open it on Christmas Day.. At first I was unsure about it but as he used it and came home from work, it started to smell differently and I found myself smelling him and telling him he smelt nice! Overall very speedy delivery, good packaging, amazing price. Very happy!Oh and I forgot to mention it isn't an aftershave that you spray, it's one that you drip lol, a good thing as this stops my partner overusing :)

Fresh Paco...
...and a bit soapy, in my opinion, but it will last for at least 2-3 hours without any problem. Some will adore it, as it will induce a refreshing feeling, others will tend to stay away from using it very often.Definitely worth a check during a hot summer day/evening, especially at the Med...majority of perfumes will leave a print on your skin that tends to vary depending on climate and season...sorry, my opinion. Not bad at all, have a bit of patience.

Smell nice with this stuff
Nice an subtle, classy and understated but thats enough about me. This aint bad either come to think of it. Just kidding, it is in gfact a perennial favourite of mine and my other half loves it. She tells me that it is not overpowering for her when I use it and I also think that it is extremely good value too.. I can't get all Jilly Goolden in terms of descriptions but there is a bit of myrrh in there and some rosemary like aromas but it is too flowery so don't let that put you off. A bit of musk in there too but like I say, I'm no Jilly Goolden .

Husband loves this
I bought this as an extra Christmas present for my husband as he likes an astringent aftershave splash rather than a cream. There are surprisingly few of these on the market, and the ones with a decent smell are usually very expensive. This was a reasonable price, and a nice smell, so a good compromise and he was delighted with it. The only problem is that he keeps using it every day so I will have to get him another one now!
