The Best Pillow I've Ever Used
I have issues with my neck, as my cervical spine is straightening out as I age, which causes a lot of neck pain and headaches when I wake up. I've used contoured pillows for years because of this, but the issue is that memory foam always tends to break down, especially the softer they are to begin with, so I've bought A LOT of different pillows through the years, either because they were not comfortable (for me), or because they were beginning to break down and lose their supportive properties. This pillow, however, has held up, and is just as comfortable as it was when I bought it.This pillow is a contour pillow, which works well for back sleeping, but also has sides to it, so that if you tend to start out on your back and then wind up on your side, as I do, this pillow has you covered. This is a fairly firm pillow, which seemed odd at first, but you do get used it, and it feels great, because it doesn't begin to flatten out through the night, as many other pillows tend to do, including memory foam ones. When I purchased this pillow, I did see other people commenting that it had a bad smell when they first used it, and while it did have some of a latex smell, it wasn't bad, and went away after a few nights. If you suffer from neck pain, especially when you wake up in the mornings, this pillow may help you.

Best memory foam pillow I've tried.
In the last 12 months, this is the third memory foam style pillow I've tried, all of them expensive. This is the one I'm still using. It's a little on the firm side, but has gotten better over time, so not SUPER comfortable, but not uncomfortable either. The other pillows were uncomfortable because they were too wide and I could not push them high enough on my bed to keep them from pushing down on my shoulder and making my neck uncomfortable. This back-side sleeper fits perfectly between my shoulders and the head-board. It's a little firm and heavy for travelling (harder to stuff into a suitcase), but that's the nature of a memory foam pillow. It's FABULOUS when side-sleeping. My head is very comfortably supported on the side "platforms". No regrets with this pillow.

Wish it could have worked
So this pillow caused me so much pain. I am just grateful that the return process was so easy because I knew almost immediately that I could not use this pillow. Initially I thought it was awesome. Laying on my side I noticed my neck could not relax because it was trying to hold my head up (from falling into the lower section in the center). It was so odd. Also, the pillow is much bigger than I am used to. When I rolled to my side I had to push the pillow back to get the support under my neck and the pillow went off the side of the bed. I could not get my neck and back to relax with it, so it had to go back. It is a cool concept though. I gave it a 3 star because it was so easy to return and a 2 star for comfort because it wasn't terribly firm. Wish it could have worked.

Versatile, large neck pillow. Durable and well-made.
A friend suggested a “neck” pillow when I complained about neck pain. I’ve tried several and this is the most thoughtfully built of all the ones I’ve tried. There are 2 levels of support for the neck. Rotating the pillow 180 degrees lets you choose what level of support you want. It also supports your neck if you move from lying on your back to on your side. It’s the only one I’ve seen built to offer support for both in one pillow and that feature works well. The one downside to the pillow is that it’s quite large. You’ll probably need a king-size pillow case to over the it properly. Given it’s size, if you’ve got a smaller bed, this pillow will take up more than than a typical standard pillow. That’s probably due to it accomodating back-sleeping and side-sleeping in the same pillow. It’s not inexpensive, but the design of the pillow and its build quality are both top-notch.

Flaw design! Passively fixed your head to the narrow center point! Stiff neck is killing me!
Made this purchase one year ago, purely attracted by the reputation of Tempur-Pedic company in this market and the "ergonomic sciense" behind it by then. After one year of using it nearly everyday, I find myself may have some right to review it from my personal experience:Pro:The physical attributes seems didn't change too much for this one year use: The shape, response and elasticity of the memory foam itself are still pretty solid as the day it was delivered.Cons:The major flaw design of it to me is that you are passively fixed your head to the narrow center point of the pillow during your sleep all night long! If you happen to be a non-vegetative sleepers like me, have some light toss and turn when you're asleep, you'll find you're possibly waking up in the next day morning with an award and slightly contorted neck posture, which will give you a stiff neck from time to time. And the reason behind it, I reckon presumably it is because the center point of this pillow is way too low and soft by its design, and this situation is further solidified by using relative stiff materials for the peripherals and the softest material for the narrow center point. When there is any move caused by your body unconsciously deviating from the axis, which set by the pillow, your head will be still stuck in the center point but your body will go other places, which will cause the connecting bridge-your neck the most torque pressure. And recently I found my stiff neck situation is getting worth day by day, it is killing me now, but I can't see a doctor since the covid-19 pandemic. I realized it is the time that I have to discard this fancy pillow, which is totally the money down the drain and go back to the regular, and write down some review to help avoid similar pains may be happened to others. So my rule of thumb to you is: Try this pillow before purchase! If it is not work with you at first, I'm afraid it only getting worse...
