This was loved by my piano students. We went to the ballet and they were able to recognize the music played when it was like music they heard from the book

Lovely illustrations and great adaptation of a complicated story. The addition of the musical themes made it a wonderful preview for the actual ballet.

Battery was dead. Had to spend $$ to make book sound. EH

This is an excellent book especially if you love classic music and you would like your little once ti find they own way to it. My daughter used to love to listen to it, later listen and sing and now she does a ballet it is our second one, the same as the first one's speakers after few years being taken everywhere, finally getting wet in rain, packed in. Really great book.

I love this book so much and only wish they did more in this series. We have the nutcracker too but thoses are the only two I can find. A great introduction to the music from the ballets in a beautifully illustrated story book. I hope my daughters will recognise Tchaikovsky when they hear it now :-)

Book is meant to play snippets from the ballet. Top two buttons produce a loud hissing, cracking sound over the music. Absolutely terrible, child really upset. It was perfectly possible to check this on dispatch - book wasn’t wrapped or packaged. Just shoddy. As for the rest of the “well functioning” buttons, the sound quality is really poor anyway. I would recommend buying alternative brand books that have the music embedded, also available on Amazon. Really very disappointed. Did not claim a refund - it’s almost £3 + waste of my time to try and get the money back. Honestly spend your money elsewhere.
