The edge of the worm threader is dull so it makes poking through the worm initially more difficult. The good news is that one can self-remedy this minor problem as all you need to do is add a slight edge to it. This is a must buy for anyone wanting to spend the weekend on the lake fishing. More fish equals more fun. It’s the most important tool in my tackle box, and I never go fishing without it. It is perfect for fishing in the Midwest.

I had never heard of worm threading but thought I would give it a try. As recommended by others I ground the end at an angle; thought I had ground to much not leaving the hollow shaft for the hook point. Not a problem. The angled point goes into the worm pretty well and the worm threads onto the hook up to the eye easily. Being a novice at this, I need more practice which I don’t get unless I am fishing. Can’t see wasting the worms on practice. Overall I am satisfied; it could be a little sturdier. I’ll see how well it holds up. Just be careful not to grind the hollow section away.

Simple design. I filed the tip to make it a little sharper for piercing the worm and it works great.

I ordered 2 of these. 1 from Sportsman’s Wharehouse and 1 from Amazon. The one from Amazon is far more sturdy then the one from the fishing store.

It’s great for fishing and keeping your bait.

Simple design. Thread whole worms onto slow death ( bent hooks ).

This tool is so easy to use and have found it very useful when fishing. You just stick one end of it through one side and it comes through the other. The tip has a hole in it so it makes it easy to put on the hook and slide the worm over the hook and onto the line. I have to have this tool when using worms!! I would recommend this product to anyone!

As advertised, does the job, well built

There was not information given about the product. I decided to gamble, and buy the two that I need for my season. They were pathetic limp wimpy little 4 inch garbage. I could make my own way better, so I have.This product is insultingly poorly made and if it had mentioned that they were so tiny, I would not have bought them. The materiel they were made out of it weaker than the plastic worms I'd have threaded with them.It would cost more to return them then it's worth, so I threw them in the trash. 100%, would recommend punching yourself in the face over buying this product. The seller on the other hand, was prompt.
