Decent book written by a paranoid author.
Thomas Sheridan believes that I'm a member of a Ufo death cult in France and I don't know how I can prove that I'm not. This review isn't going to make him change his mind. Apparently there is a cult that runs the Psychopath Free forum and they are launching a smear campaign against him by leaving him negative reviews on Amazon, but this is just internet drama that I got inadvertenly caught up in. I'm not a fan of Psychopath Free or its moderators, it's full of angry man hating women who've had relationship breakdowns and who have a me me me attitude. I want to study the broader issues of psychopaths, I don't care about anyone's ex. It's much better to see a psychologist than go on some anonymous forum. Another example of Thomas Sheridan's paranoid is that he's stated that fearies are evil creatures, I didn't know faeries existed. This is from Thomas Sheridan's website in an article he did about Wikileaks and Anonymous,"Firstly, the CIA created Wikileaks to give you just a tiny bit more scoop than what was on the evening news and also tell you things you already knew anyway. This introduced the masses to the idea of computer hacking as being a new normal. The idea of "thousands of pages" of private information being made public. The days of personal secrets were over, unfortunately for us that is.Then the CIA created Anonymous to get you to accept that hacking into personal computers was OK. Just dandy! That there should be no accountability/identity concerning the hackers - hence, all the masks they made for you 'radicals' as a symbol of your 'individuality'. Anonymous masks also made it very easy for undercover police and known shills to blend in with sincere activists."Julian Assange has sacrificed his freedom to go against the empire, same thing with Edward Snowden and members of Anonymous who are serving time in prison and all these conspiratards can do is smear them. The US government has made it very clear to any 5 year old child that they really don't like Julian Assange, Edward Snowden and the other leakers. This is Orewellian double think at its best. If the government is trying to destroy someone that must mean they are working for them. That logic is just delusional. If Thomas Sheridan and his fans want to disagree with this, at least provide some evidence, not just paranoid statements that echo around the conspiracy clearance houses on the Internet. If you don't provide any evidence I won't take you seriously, it's as simple as that. This sort of thing is why people don't take you conspiracy theorists seriously. Out of the hundreds of thousands of people with security clearances, a few of them have a problem with the system they serve. This sort of thing is not good for your credibility. I'm guessing Thomas Sheridan isn't going to change his mind.I'm not against conspiracy research, like 911, false flag terrorism, the Bilderbergs and other elite groups, the central banks etc, but I'm against conspiranoia and thinking that everything's a conspiracy.

Magnificent, Beautiful Minded Author!
This author Thomas Sheridan has written a masterpiece or work of art. He has done what few counselors can do effectively. He has consoled the victims of psychopaths crazy making behavior. He has removed detail by detail a need for revenge by letting one know that it is not possible. He brings the reader to acceptance and understanding of how you were played with or toyed with by a very sick person and lets you know it was not your fault. The person is not human, like the rest of us on the planet. They are similar to specimens. He has compiled many hours of psychotherapy into one book for an all time low price. the female writing the foreword provided the most soothing words i have ever read. I don't know if they have been victimized by psychopaths or not. If they have not, they deserve a nobel peace prize for being able to console and comfort thousands of people victimized by these people who appear human and flatter and lavish compliments on people and then discard them like old shoes. I am much more enlightened as far as the intentions of people and what to look for in people. The author sets the victim on a path to recovery faster than a counselor could do in 1 year of counseling. I am not putting down counselors but they are very inexperienced, don't seek additional training and don't have the level of empathy needed for this type of victimization. Maybe psychiatrist's do but i doubt it. Someone mentioned he does not have the credentials to tackle this subject. I do believe what he has done is called research and that is not plagiarism or stealing someones elses ideas. I have read Dr Hare's information on the psychopath and I must insist that he provides a great deal of information but none of it comforts the victim the way Mr. Thomas Sheridan has so beautifully done. Mr. Hares information can stir a person to read more and more of the information because it is so thought provoking and abnormal for genuine empathic individuals. This can be a negative. Mr Sheridan stirs a person to read the book quickly, but it ends the obsessive thinking and begins to close the door on the psychopath forever. He gives finality or closure and helps the victim retain a huge amount of dignity. Hats off to you and your huge level of empathy and for enduring reading such thought provoking and shocking and unbelievably inhumane information to provide some consolation to those hurt by these people born less than human. Salute!

excellent book
A really good book, help me understand the failed marriage and relationship I was in. Apparently what happened to me happened to her previous partner. She took the child and disappeared. It is amazing how people do not have basic spiritual principals like compassion, and are working in fields that are require these principals. Brought an understanding to me of the woman I was involved with. I do not understand a person who asks a person who had 14 fractures the day he gets out hospital to carry furniture up a flight stairs from the road to the first floor. they were many other incidents which I ignored that happened before. Wish I ha this book 20 years earlier. w

Good book - new angle
Informative, easy to read, simple language - not scientific or stats. Just finished reading the book - engaging and eye-opening. Knowledge gained worth more than the price of the book. Now, i am better able to identify psychopaths: good description of their physiology, behavior. He described and explained what i have personally witnessed. Cons: poor editing, a little rambling and incohesive. Pro: refreshing take and angle of psychopathy. Recommended.

Excellent book on pyschopath - informative and easy to read
Once I started reading this book I couldn't stop. I had heard about his book from a podcast he gave about pyschopaths, and as someone who had been trying to teach themselves how to develop mental strength and avoid these toxic types, I knew I had to get the book. I was very glad I did. Because Sheridan is a layman in this particular area of pyschology, he tells it as he sees it - which I really admired. No hiding behind academic terms or political correctness here!! He exposes pyschopaths for what they are: demons, monsters, black holes, all wearing ill-fitting human suits.Sheridan jumps into the subject and almost immediately discusess their typical traits and patterns of behaviour. He then writes about how to escape, especially if you're married to one with kids. He then moves onto anecdotes illustrating experiences other people and he himself have had with pyschopaths - some of it is quite scary but also reassured me that it is okay to say NO to certain types, to fear and to avoid them, and to not put on some fearless show of bravado. In fact, Sheridan makes the point that confronting or fighting or getting revenge on a pyschopath can only end in tears, more pain, even death! In the last sections of the book, he shows the reader what to do once you've escaped a pyschopath's clutches. This is a great book for anyone who knows a pyschopath, has to deal with them and wants out, but is unsure about how to do so safely. It is also great for people who suspect they know someone who may be pyschopathic or show traits - they just need that confirmation. This book is well-written and really draws you in with his writing style, I got through the book very quickly and learnt so much that I can utilize for the rest of my life in social and work encounters.

A must read for today’s world
Please read this book. Especially if you are a decent and good man/woman. It will explain relationships you had with friends or ex partners where you couldn’t understand what happened. It explains a lot about what and why the world is as it is, with all the negative things happening. There are a lot psychopaths and only if you are aware / awakened to them, will you not only be able to protect yourself against them trying to destroy you, but they will avoid you in the first place!
