These stockpots are great for every season. This is the right size pot to cook large vegetables, a variety of seafood and big batches of soups or stews.

decent pot
This is a big pot! It looks gorgeous for sure and will attract attention. I just don't like that it makes a weird popping noise when I'm boiling liquid with the lid on. Once you get past the noise issue, it's decent pot that will make soup. Just don't try to sear any meat (my soup recipe included this step) because it will leave a stain that you can't scrub away completely. It's not a Le Creuset Dutch oven and you shouldn't expect it to perform that way at this price point.UPDATE: I wanted to add that after a few months of using the pot minimally, the ceramic layer chipped in 3 little spots, similar to what other people experienced. It looks rusted where the white ceramic used to be, so I did't feel comfortable cooking anything with it anymore.

Nice pot
I bought this for Thanksgiving because I wanted to be able to boil 10lbs of potatoes all in the same pot. It was perfect size for that! Yesterday I used it again to make broth from the leftover turkey bones, and it was perfect for that as well. It is a large pot, but not so big that it's impossible to store or ridiculous to use for smaller batches of stuff.

stains easily
It was a beautiful pot when I got it but for a stock pot it stains really easily. I'll try stainless steel next time.

What a nice stock pot!
HUGE pot, and it’s beautiful! Great red color. This pot is massive. I’m looking forward to boiling down this upcoming Thanksgiving turkey carcass to stock in it. Good weight - not too heavy, nor cheap & flimsy.

WOW!
This is MUCH bigger than I was expecting but I love it! Made chicken and dumplings night before last and there was still a ton of room in the pot! We believer in leftovers. :-)

Highly recommended~
How great is this stockpot? Fabulous! I love making large pots of chicken soup for freezing when I need it if someone should need to feel better. I love the color and the glass see-through lid.

Find another pot to buy
The first time I used this was to make sauce. It was on simmer, being stirred frequently and the sauce still ended up sticking to the bottom. I soaked it in the sink so that it would be easier to clean however that didn’t help at all. I took a wooden spoon to loosen the parts that were still stuck and the enamel on the bottom of the pan started coming off with it. I would not recommend this pot.

Ceramic flakes off of the bottom of the pot and contaminates food.
I purchased this item in February, and have used it a handful of times. While cleaning it yesterday I noticed that the ceramic was flaking off the bottom. I was extremely disappointed. Waiting to hear from Cuisinart what the next step is (refund or replace). Not sure I want to replace it if it's going to flake off and contaminate my food. 😕
