I wanted to shine a light on my Mova globe in evening hours when sunlight too low and when dark to make the globe rotate. It rotates using light and the earth's magnetic field. No batteries, just light. The Mova globe is the coolest thing you've ever seen. I got it on Amazon after seeing one at a resort gift shop during vacation. You can see my review for the 4.5" Mova Globe elsewhere. This light is very flexible and worked great mounted behind piano with one screw and a small nail. I didn't want it to stand out so kept it low. See pictures. I only need to reach behind the piano in the right spot to turn the light on, then tap it again to turn off. No one else will know exactly where to reach not even grandkids. I can also tap and hold to brighten or dim. It is a smooth transition when adjusting brightness so easy to find the right light. The chrome color doesn't stick out during the daytime or evening. I considered a white color but the piano is dark and walls light so chrome is perfect. I can send more closeups on how mounted behind the piano if requested.

My wife uses it for reading in bed. Its intensity can be varied, position easily adjusted, simply turn on and off by touching the base (it remembers light intensity setting). Very nice lamp with easy to control functions.

We used this on our changing table. Pretty quickly it started spinning and wouldn't stay where we wanted it. Annoying. A few months later it completely broke off. Too bad because otherwise the features were great.

Bulb doesn't seem to be replaceable. Wish I'd looked into that at purchase. The LEDs now go to perhaps 1/4 their original brightness rendering the lamp mostly useless with no place to put but landfill which is absolutely ridiculous. Do not recommend this. Find one with a bulb that can be replaced.

Plus, if you tip the light up to the ceiling it lights up the room with indirect light. LOVE the touchlight feature, so easy when you're lying in bed, plus it's dimmable. Attaches to the headboard easily.

The flexible neck would not stay up at any angle for reading. It continuously drooped and could not be angled for reading.

Great lamp. Goose neck allows for very good adjustments for where you want the light. Strong clamp that holds the lamp up.

Perfect for a reading lamp off the headboard. The fact that it remembers the last brightness setting is very nice. Would definitely buy this again.

The touch sensor for different levels of lighting was a great idea until it stopped working after a couple weeks. Light bulb then stayed on permanently so I had to unplug it to turn the light off. It never turned on again. To bad because it’s a really nice design and I was going to get a couple more for my work desk.
