so I gave this 3 stars because it was very attractive but the needle is very cheap looking up close it tilts back and forth so it gets stuck and doesn't actual work all the time as a compass. I'm a little disappointed.

This was so much nicer than what I was expecting for the cost. Wanted a compass for a Steampunk costume and was so very surprised at it's weight. The compass case is heavy metal and it's leather case appears to be sturdy.

Love it! Sturdy well made. The needle is a bit thin but it works fine. The metro is heavy and feels well made.

Makes a great gift for someone at a transition in their life.

I gave it for a gift to my son. He loved it.

Arrived quickly and was as expected!
