These speed bumps are a bit overpriced. Having said that, they do exactly what they need to do. In our commercial garage, we had an old cement speed bump that was scraped, cracked, and crumbling from years of abuse. I was a little concerned about making this purchase because these are made of plastic and I had no idea if they would be suitable for our property. We bought two 6-foot bumps and spaced them out to cover a garage entrance that is about 20-feet wide. After installing them and seeing them in action, I can tell you that they work very well. Our initial concerns about their durability and relatively small size proved to be largely unfounded. It makes drivers slow down, end of story. They are made from completely yellow plastic, so you don't need to worry about faded or chipped paint. Though, they can still get a little beat up by lowered vehicles and tire skid marks.***UPDATE*** Sept. 2016 - As you can see from the other reviews, there now appears to be a problem with these speed bumps occasionally being shipped without the installation spikes. The product name specifically states it will come "with Hardware," meaning four 12 in. x 3/8 in. steel spikes. I just ordered two more of these speed bumps. One came with only two spikes, and the other came with none at all. Thankfully, Amazon's awesome customer service is working with me to fix the problem. But for those of you who want a quicker solution, hardware stores often sell suitable spikes for around $1 or so. It sucks to have to seek out the hardware elsewhere, but at least you have that option. I suspect there is some confusion at their warehouse because there is another listing for this same item WITHOUT HARDWARE and it looks like someone is getting them mixed up. Of course, that doesn't explain why one box only had two spikes...
