Not large enough to accomodate PHILIPS Hue GU10.
Fitted these in my bathroom ceiling but found that the Philips Hue GU10 Bulbs would press against the top of the fitting. This means that they will not fit far enough in and allow me to use the spring clip to hold it in.

Superb
Purchased for a recent little decorating project at my home.Using the correct sized hole saw you will have no issues and the finish is neat and looks smart. These are great if you are looking to upgrade from a standard central ceiling light. LED GU10s used. I would recommend these fittings.

seems great
Seems to be great quality, but had to return as I'm using Phillips Hue GU10 bulbs and they are slightly too long for this. Works great with normal 54mm long gu10's, and quality and finish looks great.

Excellent value, well made, easy to fit downlights
These are excellent downlights, well made and excellent value for the price.Like others, I used these to replace 12V lamps by removing the transformers which were faulty anyway, I used very bright 7W LEDs (see one of my previous reviews)They are very easy to fit; I wired a length of cable to each before fitting so it was a straightforward fitting to the mains junction box.Another reviewer sais that the connector block came off easily; not in my experience, it was a bit fiddly to get it on properly but once on, it stuck there - I had to remove one of my lights a few times to fit round a joist and the connecter remained firmly attached.

These ones!
I do like these. After buying 4 for a bedroom I have the ceiling replastered on last year, I had no problem in buying 30 odd for a new house I am building myself this year.Heavy duty, well made and solid. Easy to fit with a 64mm hole saw. Allows you to choose your own temperature bulbs, I use Philips now as they tend to last longest without reduction in light output over time. The various finishes offered make it likely they will suit most decors.

Easy to install
If you are replacing spot lights and these fit the same holes well they are so easy to install. You don't need a transformer so a simple upgrade.Sadly out of the 10 I bought 3 have failed withing a few months and needed replacing but at the price that wasn't an issue. Same with the bulbs. If they upped their quality control these would be a bargain.

Terrible
2018 and still producing recessed lights with chocoblock connections without an input and output connection to chain them easily.Installing a light is simple, you press metal ring, replace bulb, spend 30 minutes trying to get the metal ring back in while holding the bulb and arms going dead.Really expensive for what you get when compared to others.

Spring clip damaged hole edge in ceiling plasterboard.
The clip mechanism relies on spring wires pressing against the side of the hole, these tend to cut into the plasterboard , even with a 60mm hole. This effect is particularly bad if replacing a conventional light, where the small wire hole has been clumsily cut out. In my case the 60mm wasn't quite big enough to cut back to totally undamaged plaster, 75mm would have been. In the end I had to swap them for 75mm cutout down-lights.They would be fine going through something strong, just not plasterboard.
