A knife for a lifetime and then some
This is a beautiful knife that easily exceeds all expectations of a paring knife, from the fine balance and heft in your hand to the razor-sharp blade to just looking gorgeous on your knife rack. Full disclosure: this is my second purchase of this knife. Somehow I managed to make the first knife disappear (probably by inadvertently throwing it into the garbage with other kitchen detritus. Ouch!) It was indispensable enough to justify the cost of replacing it. Like other Kramer knives, this one will last a lifetime, then be passed on to the next generation of food and cooking enthusiasts.

Love the knife
Love the knife, but my wife cleaned it and it air dried, now it has rust spots all over the blade. It does not diminish the performance, it is just not as pretty as when it was new.

Near perfect knife
If you can train yourself to always wash and dry immediately after use, you can not get a sharper knife then these high carbon steel Kramer's. I have never had a knife feel more natural in my hand than this series of Kramer knives (when held as most chefs do, with thumb and first finger on the blade just ahead of the ferrule).

It can be sharpened to a very fine edge, but it rapidly oxidizes
Unlike most knives, including other Kramer knives we have bought, this one seems not to be made of stainless steel. It can be sharpened to a very fine edge, but it rapidly oxidizes. If you don't mind its oxidized appearance, it's fine.

This knife will pit and rust, rinse and dry in-between each use. Never leave wet!!!
Never had a knife so finicky. It will start to discolor while in use. Not worth the effort as it needs to be sharpened during use. Cut, dry, sharpen…repeat. Way over priced for the continuing up keep.

Gorgeous and functional
Really outstanding feel. Looks and works great. It's expensive, but hard to imagine a nicer paring knife.

No Worries... Just buy it!
Really nice knife. Really sharp and the handle has a more rounded shape which fits my hand well.
