Perfect size for file boxes
I bought three of these racks. They are sturdy and easy to assemble. The shelves are very hard and made of very dense particle board. They are covered on all sides with very hard sheet plastic that appears washable. The shelves are the perfect width and depth to store three file boxes side by side without wasting space. I built the base shelf out of pine and particle board, so I had six shelves. I can now pile file boxes six high. By the way, a small mallet was included with the rack so pushing the pieces into place was no problem. The rack was far nicer than I expected.

It is NOT easy to put together...but it is a nice unit.
The color is fantastic, although a little less turquoise-looking than it looks like in the picture, but it is described as being blue, so I expected that it wouldn't look as turquoise. As far as the ease of putting it it together...NOT!! I had to go out and get a rubber mallet and a friend to help hold the pieces, and together with a lot of sweat, it took us almost an hour to put it all together. It looks great now, but it was NOT easy to put together...and the shelves still aren't settled as far down as they should be.

A Nightmare to Assemble and Use
Bought this because this was the only option I could find on Amazon that had the width I need. It turned out it was impossible to assemble properly. The assembled unit will be tilted, wobbly, and higher tiers can collapse easily on load. Before you make any assumptions, I am going to tell you am an engineer and I assemble stuff on daily basis. This is just a awfully designed product. All connections are made with this keyhole mounting mechanism where you're supposed to hammer the beams into it with the provided rubber hammer. It is by design (shown on the manual) doesn't go all the way down and should leave a 2-3mm gap. The tolerances are so tight that its manufacturing doesn't suffice. Some goes down all the way, some leaves a 5mm gap. It also changes depending on how much of the paint was worn off during the process (there is a thick paint on both the posts and the beams). As a result, beam can be high on one side and low on the other, then the particle board cannot sit firmly on top of the beams. Additionally, as you need to hammer the beams, the impact will make previously assembled structure to fall apart. It only start to stabilize when you have two tiers built, but good luck getting there. It became worse when I tried to put it in the "stacked" configuration, which is the 5-tier one shown in product description. It uses this extension connector shown in p1. You hammer it to the upper post first and then hammer the assembly to the lower post. It was very hard to hammer it at the right direction as it just bumps out if you are not hammer exactly in the direction it supposed to go in, and the little triangle you're supposed to hammer on sits at an angle of that direction. It was also poorly welded as they broke of while hammering. After installing a tier on the extended post, I found the extended posts started to slide over each other (see p2), while it was supposed to stay like p3. You can imagine it will also happen if you put anything heavy on the upper tiers. Eventually they will slide over each other completely and the whole structure will collapse.WHY WOULD ANYONE THINK THIS IS A GOOD DESIGN? Just use some screws and problem solved. It will be sturdy, easy to assemble, it will even be so much cheaper to manufacture as you don't need to weld anything. Just why?I guess the only thing I liked about this product it that it comes with gray particle boards instead of the brown ones in the description.Overall very disappointed. If you read this comment I suggest you getting ones with cylindrical posts and wire pannels. Those are much easier to assemble (I did it in 15mins while this one cost me over 3hrs) and are much sturdier.

Great sturdy shelving at a great price.
Assembly takes a little patience but well worth the challenge. It even comes with a little hammer.

Seems like it will work
The instructions for this were pretty much useless, but it's relatively straight forward. It's hard to get everything to lock in place we had to pound on it with a mallet repeatedly. But it fits nearly perfectly in my new kitchen pantry and easily fits all my small kitchen appliances.

Cheap
Pros: Cheap.Cons: Cheaply made. Shelving will not hold much weight. The pieces don’t fit together easily and getting one side to pop into place will often force the other side out of alignment. When I looked at returning product, I have to pay to return the item. Despite being cheap & flimsy shelving, the cost of return shipping is stupid expensive. This is the worst purchase I’ve made in a long time. Save yourself the headache.

Ideal shelf
Shelf is exactly the size and strength I needed. There was a part missing from the box but I called and the part was sent to me quickly. This is truly a well designed and heavy duty shelf. It is very solid and stable.
