Not a lot
I cannot write a review for this DVD, simply because I cannot remember it.

Thoroughly watchable drama with some really nice gay sex
Just FYI there ain’t no subtitles. Not even English, let alone SDH/ HOH. That aside this film is good. Not great. The ending is hugely unsatisfying. I dislike endings where the audience has to decide for themselves what happens after the credits roll. That having been typed, the guys are pretty and there’s some nice male nudity. There’s also at least one great gay sex scene. Extras wise, you got a making of that runs twenty five minutes approx. There’s also an interview with the lead actor. But no trailer or ers.

Surprisingly good gay movie about the reasons & problems with attempting to relive the past.
Movie "Retake": wasn't really sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised that Retake is actually a pretty good movie about the reasons & problems with attempting to relive the past. The protagonists are gay men but the film could probably be appreciated by anyone that has loved & lost someone.

Good movie
Surprisingly good and entertaining. I found the movie to have gone by quickly. Both leads play their roles well. Slightly disappointed by the open ending but very well made on two people who helped each other start fresh.

It definitely grows on you, it becomes believable and you feel the pain of both characters
it gets good if you can get over the sex scenes which I am not a big fan of in films! Worth the watch, it shows how fragile the mind can become when someone loses someone they love and try to replace them with a substitute

Not bad but not great either
Not a bad film, slightly contrived at times. Gets better towards the middle end and just about held my attention. Probably wouldn’t watch it again and not upto the likes of Call Me By Your Name, Weekend or God’s Own Country.

Recreatubg the past
Often nicely sexy. An interesting idea, well acted, but unsatisfactory ending. No subtitles, so I couldn't always make out what was being said.

Very moving
Found this a very moving film where past and present collide. The main theme is about pain carried and the yearning for redemption and new beginnings. It is exceptionally well acted and you do get to care about both leading characters. I enjoyed it tremendously. Recommended.
