Same hose as used on GE side by side refrigerator model PSS26LGSBBB
This is the same size and type hose that goes down the back of a GE side by side PSS26LGSBBB refrigerator from the water filter (where it appears glued into place) to a piece on the bottom back of the refrigerator that splits the water going to the door and water being used for the icemaker. My refrigerator began leaking (after 12+ years) from where that hose connected to that part. Replacing the part didn't help so I had to replace the hose. Rather than dealing with the glue and whatnot by the water filter I cut this hose in half with with a good pair of scissors, I cut the existing hose about the same length up as well and screwed half this new hose onto the part at the bottom. Finally I used a quick connect YZM 1/4" OD Quick Connect Push In to Connect Water Tube Fitting (1/4" quick connector) to connect the two cut hoses and the leak was stopped and all was well again. Had I correctly figured out it was just the hose and not the part on the bottom that was broken it would have been a very cheap fix.

General Electric Refrigerator Waterline Cable
Cable is very well made and very flexible, but I was looking for a 6 foot size cable as the description said, but was sent an 8 foot one. I called amazon and they sent me a replacement which was also 8 feet. If you want an 8 foot length cable definitely buy this one as you will be happy! Don’t buy if you are expecting a 6 foot length one as I believe the description is simply incorrect.

GE has changed to 8 foot length - nice PEX line doesn't leech
As mentioned in other reviews, I received an 8 foot supply line. It has the same part no. as the item pictured, so GE must have increased the size. For me, this was exactly what I was looking for. Most icemaker supply lines come in 6 foot length, and the other popular model on Amazon comes in a 12 foot length. Here, the connection ends are molded, so it really doesn't lend itself to shortening, so it's great for those needing a bit more than 6 ft, but don't need all the extra length and extra expense of the 12 foot line. Also, I can confirm this is made of pex, so it doesn't leech plastic tastes into the line, unlike the standard poly lines.

Didn’t match as stated
The end did not fit as stated for my unit. How ever I modified the end shaving it down to fit. The tube is good quality but the end is not correct to the fitment. Why I gave it three stars.

So far so good.
I had to get the longer one. The 6 foot was a bit too short . the longer one was the same and it was sturdier than the plastic tubing that was in place. So far so good.

Works Great
I replaced the old copper line on the fridge ice maker with this water line. I added an inline water filter at the same time. Easy, one snip with a pair of diagonal pliers, plug the ends into the filter and connect to the water outlet and ice maker connection. No leaks.

Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!
Fits my GE model FA508080 bottom freezer/French door fridge. For my setup, 6 feet was plenty of length. The automatic ice maker works now. Happy wife, happy life!
