I have purchased this camera twice. The first time, I returned it thinking it was defective. The problem that I encountered is that they don't tell you that you MUST configure it while sitting in the car with the car adapter attached to the camera. I had attached the camera to my computer with the USB cable provided. It would only display a "Mass Storage" message on the screen. I had sent an email to the vendor explaining the issue that I had, but I didn't hear back from them. So... I returned it. Amazon promptly refunded the price that I paid.I immediately purchased it again a second time. When I received it, I encountered the same issue. Only because they don't tell you that you must configure it while sitting in your car with the car adapter attached to the camera. I finally received an email response from the vendor explaining that the camera must be configured in the car with the car adapter. So... I tried that and the camera worked. The camera performs really well and takes great video. This works the same as the $200 dollar cameras plus you get infrared for recording at night. I have tried this camera during the day and at night and am pleased with the results. At this point, the only negative thing I have to say, is that documentation needs to be better, otherwise this is a great buy.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I watch many reviews of dash cam, and I am pleased with the ease of install and the video quality, compact, and the instructions actually made sense, I managed to hide the power cord and can remove easily the cam and attach to my PC to check the video or pop out the SD card for a quick check of the quality...great product...keep up the good work..

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I had an accident recently where the other driver won't admit he ran red light. At that time I just realized that my old dash cam isn't working properly. The clip when the accident happen is just blank.While doing my research for another dash cam, I found that there are many dash cam, even the expensive one, have the same problem. They just stop working. I always look at 1 star review on Amazon and this dash cam has the most reasonable review thus I pick this one.Right after I receive the camera, I tried to put my 64GB sandisk micro SD card. It doesn't work. I thought that the camera is faulty, but then I tried other micro SD card and it finally work with 32GB sandisk micro SD card.The user interface might be confusing, but after I read the manual it is quite straight forward and not that confusing. So far I'm happy with the result (you can watch the sample footage). Let see how long it will last.I will update my review in the next few months to share whether this camera is better / more durable than my old dash cam.Update:Over a year of use and still running strong

I looked at several dash cams over the last few months and this one seemed to be the best for the specifications I was looking for and within my budget for a dash cam. I was also able to setup quickly right out of the box. The menu and buttons were easy to quickly figure out and go through the settings to get the camera up and going. It even has the ability to add your cars license plate to the video/picture stamp if you want to. The picture is also very clear and detailed. Highly recommend this camera.

First of all I really like the design of this particular dash cam. It is not bulky and slim enough to fit under your rearview mirror without obstructing your view. The quality of this cam is really good, it does not appear to me as being cheaply made. Although the functionality is something to get used too once you familiarize yourself with it, you will not need to adjust settings going forward.I prefer a suction cup mount so I can remove and place in another vehicle. The suction cup mount is very strong and keeps the cam stable when going over rough terrain. I wish it came with clips to organize the cables. I have provided a video and a couple of pics to show the quality. I plan to purchase another for my son to have in his car.

Very useful camera for a city like Chicago. I found that picture quality is good day and night. Can read license plate of car in front of you. Easy to mount and use. It’s small and doesn’t cover the view. Love it and would recommend to a friend

This is my first dash-cam and so far the experience has been positive.What I liked:1.nice looking with good quality video. Registration plates are readable for the cars in front, but beware the numbers are not legible if the cars are coming at an angle or in low light situations.2. A long 12V socket power cable. I managed to hide it by routing it between the windscreen and the panel, and then inside the rubber weather seal, and finally under the carpet. There are a number of You Tube video on how to do this properly3. The suction mounting cup is strong enough to hold the web-cam in place. Also it has a power input socket that's handy when routing the power cable.What I disliked1. The manual could be improved and the font size is too small. I used youtube videos to understand different settings2. fairly difficult to access the settingsOther information:The dash cam works only when the car is on.The file sizes can be quite large so it will fill the MicroSD card quite rapidly before over writing the files. SO it is important that you buy a good quality MicroSD card as low quality MicroSD cards will last only a few hundred over writes.Updated 12/07:Reduced the star rating because of the incredible difficulties I was having with accessing the settings menu. Also the number plates were not legible when the lighting wasn't optimal
