The Trolley Car Family Paperback – July 1, 1987

I had never heard of this book. The Boxcar Children was my favorite book as a child oh, and someone mentioned this. I finally was able to buy it here and when I got it I read through the whole thing in one day. It was like escaping back to my childhood and a simpler time. Wonderful book.

This is a book I read back in my tween years. It stuck with me for 40+ years. I borrowed it from the school library all those years ago and got a yen to reread it. It was still as sweet and fun as I remembered. I have passed it on to a friend's twelve year old son and he is enjoying it. I hope it's one he passes on to his younger sisters (7 & 5) as they move into more complicated books.

I ordered this book because I remember my dad bringing it home to me when I was in first grade. I was sick and missed most of that school year, but because my parents were both teachers I was taught at home. These days children are expected to read in kindergarten, but at my school kindergarten was not even offered. It would not be surprising today that a first grader could read and enjoy this book, but when I was young it was quite unusual!

Great story from when I was growing up. Bought it to share with my granddaughterd.

This was for my wife.It was a book she read as a child.

I was looking for the book my 5th grade teacher had read to our class. That was 1950. This is either that story or a very similar book.It's been a fun read!'

The book was delivered on time and in good condition.

I have to admit that the reason I love this book, is because it is one I remember from my childhood!
