Lindsay Black Pearl Olives, Sliced, 2.25 Oz

Using fancy olives in many ways potato macaroni salad my daughter-in-law loves the man her spaghetti sauce I will not go that far.

These are great to put on pizza. My son loves black olives on his pizza, and this can is great for making about 3.5 pizzas with moderate black olives.The taste is rather mild- it's certainly NOT the wonderful fresh olives I like off the olive bar- they are definitely canned, not as briny as the olive bar, and not quite as firm, certainly not as expensive, BUT there's no work- there are no pits, there's no slicing- they are sliced perfectly for most recipes - just open the can, drain them, and use them.I always keep them on hand, and this size is very convenient - I never waste any. The cans are a good value.Recommended for recipes, for all but the most discerning olive lovers.

One of my weaknesses is black olives - I can eat the entire can and still want more, & it's not because I crave salt - I've never added salt to foods except eggs & corn on the cob. I have had to avoid black olives due to sodium restrictions for an inner ear disorder but when I make spaghetti sauce, I add these olives anyway. Due to the high sodium in red sauce, I can only use one spoonful, so I add my delicious black olives & it makes it even more tasty. If I made pizza, I'd put these on it too, and when I used to eat salad, I added these to it. Highly recommended!

Canned black olives always seem to have a peculiar taste to them but they are great for dishes where are not the star but only an added ingredient. Perfect for tacos, pizza toppings, certain salads, etc. These olives are exactly what I expected and I am happy with them. If I am cooking something where the olive tastes needs to stand out then I buy whole black olives and slice or chop them myself. Still, these are great to have on hand and at this price they will always be in my pantry.

Convenient form (since they are already sliced), good ingredients, nice taste. They are little too salty, but they come in a can.They are perfect for salads, pasta, pizza. The package is very small, it's great to just try the product. In the future I will buy bigger sizes.

I use these sliced olives on salads, taco's you name it. I'll pay a few cents more to have them sliced as I end up opening a can of whole black olives and just spending the time to slice them.Never had Lindsay olives before, and they certainly taste just as good as any of the other brands that I have had.

Lindsay is my favorite brand of olives. I will buy these again. I love the easy open top on the can too.

This size can is perfect size for casseroles, soups, spreads etc. I buy a lot of this brand because of the Amazon price. Will keep buying.
