The book is excellent. Word selection is very handy. It is both; E to J and J to E. The entries are given in English, kana and romaji. So that one understands and pronounce it easily, I loved it.The 3 stars are for bad page quality and perfect paperback binding. They could have simply used better pages and charge 50 ₹ more.Dictionary is not something to be used once or twice and kept on self, it is to be used regularly and for years to come.The publishers must remember this.

Must Buy Dictionary For Japanese Learners, arrangements and all the entries are updated.I love how the book is divided into two sections First japanese to English and then English to Japanese.Really Helpful and a great resource dictionary in Such low price.Page quality is not so good.But the Publication is good

Got it today and happy to see its collection of words. Romaji helps a lot to understand the pronunciation correctly without much knowledge of kanji.

Book is very useful. Deducted one star because it has yellowish pages, looks very old, because old papers have lesser endurance than the new ones.

Very well organised dictionary which my mother finds easy to use. Perfect for both beginners as well as advanced learners.

Depends on what purpose you use it for, mind that all the readings are in english (not in hiragana katakana).

Must have for Japanese Learner, very useful worth your money.

This is honestly one of the most useful books I purchased whilst studying Japanese. This isn't a book for a complete beginner as it's a dictionary - it's for those who have started to properly read and write in Japanese. It's useful for checking spellings and looking up words that you need to write in Japanese or for checking the meaning. I know a lot of people rely on the internet these days but this is the book I've used most!

Excellent value for money. Very comprehensive. I was impressed with the range of words it covered. Ideal for both beginners and more advanced students.

The book was described as very good but omitted to say the corners were bumped the front hinge weak and there were marks along the bottom closed edge.

Purchsed this for my son who's learning Japanese. He is delighted with this product. Says it's easy to use and has been very helpful.

Good dictionery, missing a few traditional kanji and also images of script at times a little too small to read for the more detailed kanjis.

I have seen several romanised dictionaries since I began to learn this language and I must say that this is the best one I have come across so far.With over 50,000 entries, this book should cover most words that a beginner or intermediate learner will encounter.As a beginner in Japanese, I have found the romanised Japanese very helpful. But even better, as I am beginning to learn to read the Japanese characters, the Kanji included next to each translation makes this book even more useful at the next level.It even contains a Romanji/Hiragana/Katakana syllable chart at the start as a handy reference for all level of learners.I would recommend this book to any beginner who has yet to find a decent dictionary and to intermediate learners who are looking for extra resource material.

Precio económico y gran selección de las palabras mas adecuadas para ayudar en el aprendizaje del idioma japonés. Tuve que comprarlo en esta presentación bilingüe con el inglés porque los diccionarios español-japones tienen precios prohibitivos y presentaciones que no ayudan mucho en el aprendizaje,excepto en el rudimentario

The dictionary meets every expectation I held. The only thing I noticed is that the dictionary appears to have been signed out of the Warren Trumbull County Library, Liberty Branch, in Warren Ohio. complete with "withdrawn" stamped on the inside title page together with the ISP blacked out on the back cover. The tag on the spine of the book is covered to disguise it's placement in the Dewey decimal system the Library uses to stack the books.Should I contact the library to report to see if they are missing an English/Japanese dictionary? I dont want to be a party in any thievery or other wrongdoing that might prevent from entering the USA in the future.I will hang onto the book for now until I receive further instructions.Regards;BruceOttawa, Ontario, Canada.
