its smooth, use good ink for better results..Pelikan,waterman..etcDon't fall for the negative comments.. LAMY is the best

It's smooth out of the box. Using watermen ink for the same. No complaints ATM.

The pen is working fine. I am using parker quink for now but will shift to pelican or waterman soon. Pen is smooth but the warranty card is empty and has no stamp or signature. So be prepared for a no warranty purchase.

Its a broad tip pen delivered whereas the product description says Fine tip

After having heard a lot about Lamy pen's ,on a rather boring night ordered this , frankly at the prices sold in India ,this doesn't feel vfm..the plastics seems fragile (i had a twsbi eco which was a solidly built pen with plastic bodyand sadly I lost it )Also i recieved a medium nib while this has a fine nib ?Perhaps the pen at its original price outside it might be good but with almost 50% markup here ,i think we can find better pensSince i found the included ink and the flow of it through the pen ,a bit less smooth ,I'm gonna do a lil more testing with other inks in the future and update the review in future

The product which I had got did not have lamy marking on the ring which protects the cartridge. The pen barrel did not align as in the image. Overall quality of the material is poor. It’s a duplicate product
